The Crown Tavern offers very good overall food and service. The Water (tap) and Coffee are rated very highly. Customers recommend the Toffee Pudding, Shrimp Cocktail, Bangers & Mash, and Lemon Olive Oil Cake. Despite some issues with service, the food quality is excellent. However, there were some concerns about incorrect orders, like salads coming with pickled onions when requested without.
