Met with a friend for Saturday brunch, and it was a nice time. Food was excellent (had leftovers I was highly looking forward to), service was decent, and ambiance was lovely. The decor was fresh and added to the delightful atmosphere. I plan on going back!
We really wanted to love this place for dinner - I've been for lunch and it was great! The place was empty on a Friday night which was disappointing to see but may have been indicative of a restaurant struggling - there was one waitress and one hostess (who wasn't doing much at all even though the floor needed sweeping and she tried to sit us by the door even though every table was empty) and a handful of cooks in the kitchen. I think I wasn't thrilled because I chose the wrong entree. I wasn't fond of their lemon vinaigrette dressing on my salad. I thought the crab beignets were good and their doughnuts were amazing.
