Food is always delicious and fun speciality cocktails. Love the atmosphere of the bar or dining area!

The bartender we had this evening was horrific-if I owned that restaurant , she would no longer be working . She was abrupt and rude; the drinks were of an amateur ... when I asked for a cubed. Ice cube for my old fashioned , she told me I should've asked for it .

I really enjoy everything on their menu. The quaint little bar is a picture reminder of being in Ireland. Staff is fabulous. Food is delicious!

I have to give 5 stars even though I have criticisms and our meal was less than perfect. The way the manager handled my cold potatoes needs to be standard; he was amazing. Our server was very prompt and gracious (forgive me for forgetting her name. She was wonderful!). The Turkey Devonshire was very, very good despite looking less than refined. Overall this is a 5 star upper mid priced restaurant that is unique and offers solid, good food.

Was looking for a new place to take the fam for my dad's birthday and stumbled across this place after a little research. It's a little outside of downtown Pittsburgh which is what we wanted because navigating and parking was easy ?As soon as I walked in I loved the atmosphere. Super cool place and hadn't seen anything like it before. It gave a super cool vibe. I also put in a reservation for 11 and we ended up in a private room - didn't ask for it - but more than appreciated that we were kind of closed off in our own space ?Our server was really friendly and on top of everything...giving us details on specials, super on point with service in general, and overall gave an awesome experience. I wish I remembered his name to give a shout-out because I like to give credit where credit is due ?I ordered a full meal here - I will say the clam chowder was ok...not bad but nothing spectacular but I'm still giving 5 stars for everything else I stated above and the rest of the food I ordered. I also got shrimp wontons, which I wish I took a picture cause they were unique and texture was on point and flavor, especially the sauce was great. My main course was there cottage pie, their spin off shepherds pie but with a super flavorful gravy and shaved ribeye with mashed potatoes on top. Everyone at the table wanted it as soon as it arrived and it was awesome! I got a slice of chocolate cake to go which was also really good too ?I'd definitely come back for the atmosphere and to try more of their menu options because I don't think I'd be disappointed - Thank you for a great evening especially on my dad's birthday ?

Always relaxing with good food. Chef often checks in with customers. Very friendly. Great for casual night out or special occasion! Overall great restaurant! Love the patio with huge fireplace. Servers are great!

The service was fair...especially after my wife had a hair in her food when it was served. The server apologized and replaced the meal within 5 minutes. Zero follow up from a Manager and no offer to do anything about the cost of the meal. We loved the atmosphere and menu choices, but will not plan to return anytime soon.

We're honestly pretty pretentious about food—and this was a solid meal, it was all really good. Not amazing, but really good. Not sure it would be a regular spot or that we have a strong desire to go back, but it was an enjoyable meal that was well done.

Food was delicious with many appealing items on the menu. The pre-meal bread is worth the trip just by itself. The ambience was so charming and relaxing. We will certainly be coming back frequently

My wife and I visit Hartwood generally for weekend lunch in the summer. We took my Sister and Aunt to dinner to celebrate their birthdays. The place was busy, however many tables were open. Service was slow with almost no follow up until we finished our meals. The meals were good, but sides were not as expected or missing. Our waitress was not visible to ask, and bus/runners were moving too quickly to stop. Not the best regardless of any possible staffing issues.
