“Went for a concert and it was a great venue. Despite the rain forcing everyone under the covered seating area, it was a great place. I love that they had little lights all around it. There's also a ton of sand in front of the stage. And there was enough area to be covered from the rain. Only downside was they only have Porta potties - - no thank you. The venue was very cute and was in the hills.”

“Largely a run of the mill American style Chinese restaurant, but the quality of the food puts it above many local contemporaries. Everything I have ordered has been hot and well made, with ample portions for the prices.The restaurant itself was closed for dining for a number of years due to the pandemic, and it's still not a place I'd dine in at, since the dining room is pretty dingy and outdated, and basically seems like an afterthought for the aforementioned takeout business, which always seems quite busy.The service is pleasant, but seems a touch understaffed for demand, so expect your order will likely take longer than the the average Chinese takeout place, and you may be waiting a bit longer than the initial prediction. But for the overall enjoyability of the food, it seems worth it. Definitely a decent takeout option for the area.”

“Very good food! I got the Hunan Delight, my husband got Royal Family, and my son got Crispy Honey Shrimp. Everything was fresh, hot, and quickly served. Lots of big pieces of tasty vegetables, and served with white rice. The waitresses were very pleasant and the price was right. We'll be back again!”

“I've had food from Angelo's twice. Both times, the taste and quality of the food was excellent. The pizza is good, their Italian hoagie is delicious and reasonably priced for the bigger size, and their garlic knots are absolutely amazing. When you go, it's easier to park around back and walk between buildings rather than brave the Mount Royal drivers if you park in front of the shop. Wish you guys were open more often.”

“Extremely fast service. My friends and I went here on the way somewhere, early on a Saturday morning. They had the food out to-go in less than 2 minutes, not an exaggeration. It was pretty impressive. Our orders were all correct.”

“Had high expectations for this place but the food just wasn’t that great :/ I ate solo and even tried to fit in 3 dishes but neither of them really hit. Pierogi were nicely crisped on the outside but the romesco-like sauce on the bottom made the dish more on the acidic side, especially since there was already pickled relish on top, and I found myself wishing for more fat or sweetness. I actually used ricotta that came with bread and it tasted much better with it. Lobster roll filling was excellent but I wished they’d actually toasted the bread on the inside and not on the outside. Eating soft white bread of which there was a lot just didn’t feel great. Finally, the skate had good flavor and shishitos were a cute touch but the fish was severely undersalted (it’s a thick fillet) and the sauce on the bottom was, again, mostly acidic and didn’t help much.

“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!”

“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)”

“Everyone was really nice, there were a lot of options and they were explained very clearly. There is a sauce bar for you to make your own dipping sauce. We did both all you can eat hot pot and BBQ and it was a fun experience. We will definitely be back again and again!”

We did the family style dining for a large group, and it was very well received. One of my Italian classmates sate the the Cacio e Pepe was the best that he had tasted outside of Milan. I would strongly recommend this location for really first rate Italian food and a great atmosphere”
