I leave this review out of sheer disappointment with whom I assume may be a manager but I’m not sure.
Let me start by saying, I really enjoyed my first experience when I came with just my husband. Food was decent and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the wonderful girls who ran around like crazy keeping the buffet neat, clean and organized. The omelet station was an awesome addition as well.
The disappointment arises when I called to make a reservation due to my family coming into town. (This is a week in advance that I’m calling.) I wanted to share this experience with my out-of-town family. I have a family member who has severe food allergy to dairy causing anaphylaxis. - Like how some people have issues with peanuts.
The first girl I spoke to and made the reservation with was awesome. I had asked about food allergies/ restrictions and was passed over to a man who I’m guessing is a manager, again, not sure.
He started off by telling me how busy they were going to be with big parties that day (mine was only a group of 8) and I would have to buy the buffet for my family member. Keep in mind, I didn’t care about the price as long as I could have this allergy accommodated. I asked if they would be able to just cook some bacon and home fries/whichever potato it was separately in the back to be certain it would not be contaminated with any other ingredients to keep my family member safe. I would have paid buffet price for this also. He made me feel as if I was a bother calling to ask these questions.
That’s when it became super disappointing, I held them to a higher standard due to previous experience. My thoughts on that have definitely been altered. They will not accommodate you if you have any type of food allergy or restriction. They are more concerned with telling you how busy they will be with other people that day. Again, it’s super disappointing. I really thought they would be better than that since they seemed like such a nice establishment. Not that I matter in the big picture, but I won’t be returning. I hope other people with allergies/ dietary restrictions see this saves them the aggravation.

Everything was quality, place was clean and staff were super attentive and nice. I have to be careful with my gluten allergy but cross contamination was not much of a risk. Everything in its own hotel pans and covered, dedicated utensils for each dish. Very much worth the money to bring kids for I think $5 each.

We ate at the Middle Rd Inn as a group and our waitress Danielle was excellent and very personable with a booming voice that was easy to be heard. Everyone in our group seemed to be very happy with the food they ordered and the service. 😋

We were there on a Friday evening and the place was packed. Our wait for a table was approximately an hour and apparently the staff had a call off which, just added to the staff’s stress level. We were nonetheless greeted graciously. The food was all delicious. My friend ordered the fish sandwich with a beautiful side salad. I personally thought the fish was a little bland but my friend very much enjoyed it. I ordered the steak hoagie which, was even more delicious the next day as leftovers (no frozen, processed Steak matter here), and fries. The atmosphere was quite cozy with the fireplace blazing on a cold winter’s night. We’ll definitely be returning in the near future.

Veggies and baked potato had no seasonings. But Importantly there was a $7 difference between the price of 2 beef ribs dinners and the receipt. It was corrected once brought to their attention. Also allow for a Fee when paying with a Credit Card.

We just had brunch there Sunday!!! Excellent!!! Can’t wait to go back!! Food service!! Excellent ❤️
The dining room was a big room with tables and chairs. There aren't any dividers, so there is no real privacy, and it can get very loud. The food was a disappointment. I don't recommend the brisket. It was very plain, and it looked like strips of bacon.

I went there for a bridal shower and it was fanstatic!Fantastic Food were great breakfast/brunch food well cooked and you can ask the chef to make an omelet your way. The waitress were lovely and kind and suited your needs. The area was romantic looking suitable for the shower.

Haven't branched out past wings and sandwiches, but it's all been top notch. Most servers are pro's and will be on top of everything. Old school type atmosphere in restaurant area that's always clean and comfortable. Brunch is nice as well.
Wheelchair accessibility: Nice ramp access for wheelchairs and walkers.
