As an Indian person who has ordered from 10+ different Indian restaurants in the city for delivery, this is by far my favorite. We ordered naans, palak paneer, butter chicken, and malai kofta. Flavors are full, portions are sizable (except for the number of kofta in the malai kofta), and spice (levels 6-8) were totally what I expected for each dish. I will definitively be ordering again.
The lamb Rogan Josh is awesome!
As is the garlic naan and mango lassi.

Swaagat is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the Pittsburgh area. Its menu lists a large variety of Indian appetizers, entrees, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages. Prices are reasonable. For dinner, my husband and I loved our Veg Platter appetizer (samosa, aloo tikki, veg pakora, and paneer pakora), Butter Chicken, Palak Paneer, Garlic Naan, Mango Masti, and Hot Masala Chai.

I will admit I love Indian food because of the spices. I don’t often get adventurous. I don’t often order just a dish or a main plate. I like buffets. I’m used to being asked what spice level I want when ordering Thai, never Indian, until tonight. Lamb Biryani spice level 6, Bindhi masala level 7. I cannot wait to try more dishes from here. I’ve actually never had Bindhi masala before. It was a mistake in my part, I accidentally ordered the wrong dish. I will definitely order it again.
In their reply they offered to make something else. Which is way above and beyond good
Customer service. The mistake way on me. I ordered the wrong menu item but was pleasantly surprised with what I got instead (not the restaurants fault. My mistake). I will be sure to to make sure I write down what I want before ordering. Great food!

The food is really tasty. We ordered Chicken Tandoori, Lamb kadai, Tandoori Roti, Garlic Naan, and few drinks. Chicken Tandoori was too yummy. The people are friendly, sweet, kind and humble. They made my birthday even more memorable by celebrating it with gulab jamun and a candle ❤️ The place is very neat. I would definitely recommend the restaurant and to people who are visiting Pittsburgh temple.

I had travelled from Charlotte to Indiana, PA for a project which would take 2 weeks to complete. The hotel that I was put up in didn't have a kitchenette only a microwave over. There is only so much that I can cook in an microwave. To my surprise there were no Indian restaurants in Indiana. When weekend came in I travelled to Pittsburg for Indian food. They open at 11. I must have reached at 10:55. They were extremely courteous. I ordered goat biryani, two side dishes and later noticed Baigan ka Bharta. Best Indian restaurant and most hospitable ever. Best example of Indian hospitality.

We had a fantastic experience at this place. We were welcomed with warmth.
The food was absolutely delicious — rich in flavor, freshly made, and served hot. Chicken korma is must try. Perfectly spiced and full of authentic taste. They serve amazing authentic punjabi paranthas too.
The service was quick and friendly, and the staff were more than happy to adjust spice levels to our preference.
If you’re craving flavorful, home-style Indian food, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

My daughter, son, and I had lunch there. Everything was fabulous. Lamb Korma, Chicken Tikkamasala, and Chicken Curry were the three dishes. I would recommend all of them!
Everything was outstanding.
Excellent flavors and super fresh ingredients. Very high-quality food, right down to the sauces with the appetizers. We ordered chicken tikka masala, saagwalla chicken, and baigah burtah. Friendly and helpful staff. One dish was spicier than it should have been, and that was corrected, no problem.
This lunch special gives me life
We placed a large takeout order for our family which included dietary restrictions due to food allergies and celiac disease. All of the food was delicious andcooked perfectly. Everything was labeled and well wrapped. Definitely will be ordering again!
