Excellent little bbq spot in an adorable little local indoor ‘farmers market’. The brisket sandwich was fantastic: well seasoned and melt-in-the-mouth tender. Just go.

Big shoutout to Babalouie for awesome brisket for our big party. It was a huge hit and everyone now knows where to go for the best BBQ in the area. Thank you for helping us have a great party! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We used Babalouie for my husband’s birthday party at our home. It arrived on time, delivered in some very secure and professional travel crates. Everything was made fresh and as ordered. I don’t think there was one person who didn’t ask where I got the food. It was amazing! People were so impressed with the food as were me and my husband. We’ll be calling on them again next time we need catering. I can’t say enough about how perfect everything was. And there was a lot of food, more than I expected. They went above and beyond my expectations.

Catered on site for my husband's birthday. Maggie was serving at the food truck for 2.5 hours and was so friendly and served our guests with a big smile. Everyone loved the food truck and the food was DELICIOUS. The dry rub was heavy on flavor for the ribs, chicken, and brisket. Sides were made from scratch and you could taste the difference. Coleslaw wasn't heavy on mayo. So flavorful. Everyone raved about the corn bread. Setting up, contract and payment were so easy. Prices were reasonable. Def will get catering again! Thanks Babalouie BBQ team!!

I think Babalouie’s IS more than likely the best BBQ “this side of the Mason Dixon line.” I’ve had enough south of the Mason Dixon Line to make this educated assertion. I started with the ribs and pulled pork for my family, and I can’t wait to go back for the Brisket. The cornbread is incredible. It’s a big slab, not a little “muffin top” sized bite. The ribs are St. Louis and they were rubbed and done with care. Very meaty and not a single bite was dried out or overcooked. They are perfectly seasoned. You get a choice of sweet OR spicy BBQ Sauce. Or you can get both. I prefer the sweet because the spicy was a little vinegar-y for *me* but my son loves it like that. The pulled pork is the best pulled pork I’ve ever enjoyed. It was enjoyed by everyone and I was glad I bought another pound - just in case.I find a lot of pulled pork is just a bunch of stringy meat drowning in mediocre, gelatinous goop. (Some call it “BBQ sauce.”)When you open up Babalouie’s pulled pork “by the pound,” what you see is exactly what you asked for. Pork. Pulled tenderly. In its own drippings and nothing else. Unadulterated, juicy pork. It’s an “11.”The sides we picked were the Mac & Cheese - it really is cheesy AF as the menu says. The Greens: they use Apple Cider vinegar which is the gold standard to me. It’s spicy. I prefer mine not THAT spicy, but I ate them anyway because they’re worth the burn. You can taste the pride in Brooks’ food. From Delaware on down through Georgia, these are the best Collard Greens I’ve ever tasted, with honorable props to Miss Sylvia in Harlem, NY.The Cole Slaw definitely is kickin’. You can tell when it’s homemade. And that Cornbread? It commands a second mention. It is such a perfect cornbread. It’s springy, not crumbly; the sweet is offset by the buttermilk, and I suspect all that buttermilk is the reason for the fluffy height of it. He didn’t skimp on the eggs, either. The Flourtown Farmers Market has plenty of free parking. If thats not close to you, this BBQ Food Truck is worth a trip to wherever it’s operating.

We discovered Babalouie BBQ about 6 months ago at Ten 7 Brewery in North Wales. We were there for some amazing beer and with a BBQ food truck outside, we figured it was a bonus. We had no idea how much of a bonus it would be until we chowed down on some of the best brisket and pulled pork we have ever had. And we have had them all. Seasonings and smoke are spot on; the meat is definitely high quality; sides were also great – collards, beans and corn bread that day.Fast forward to late September and we decided to ask Brooks to cater our 4 Generation family party. We ordered pretty much everything. It was ready when promised and pickup took all of 3 minutes. Our guests at the party raved and Babalouie BBQ made us look pretty awesome. Quantities, also, were very generous. We had lots of leftovers and guests were not shy about asking for take away.At the risk of overwhelming Brooks with a sudden uptick in popularity, I highly suggest stalking this guy wherever his truck may roam and if you have a party to plan, Babalouie is the key to your party’s success. When he moves into the Flourtown Farmers Market and expands his capacity, I may apply for a job to help out. It would be an honor to be a part of this artist’s work.

Overpriced, mediocre food.

Good rotating options of food trucks at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia. As usual with food trucks, there tends to be a wait - line moved fairly quickly and all the food was nicely prepped ahead of time. Ordered a platter with brisket, Mac and cheese, and collard greens. I must admit that the side dishes are outstanding.

Babalouie catered a small staff Christmas party at my home. The food arrived hot and was delicious! We had the pulled pork, brisket, chicken, and the delectable mac & cheese, beans, grilled veggies, coleslaw, rolls, sauces, etc. Is your mouth watering?Set up was effortless!
