A quaint little gelato shop based in keswick village may be the best place to get a sweet treat. The two gentlemen working were some of the friendliest people I have had the privilege of meeting. They assured me the gelato was freshly handmade in house and with one taste I was convinced these guys came straight from italy to serve their product to the american public.

Delicious Gelato. More intense flavor than simple ice cream. The Chocolate Candy Cane is spectacular. You need to have it year round. Unlike Mint Chocolate Chip, you get the chocolate and the peppermint in every taste. It is my favorite.

Really cute and small ice cream shop in the burbs! The worker scooping ice cream was really kind and let us sample multiple flavors :) I'm rating this place 4/5 stars because I thought the ice cream itself wasn't special. I have many friends that rave about Carminati, but nothing stood out to me. I tried the pumpkin flavor, which didn't taste much different from grocery store ice cream to me. I did really enjoy the texture of Carminati ice cream though! The ice cream is creamy and almost stretchy (if that makes sense).

Got the pumpkin w/spice cookies...Not too sweet, just a good, solid flavor for Fall...Tried the apple cider sorbet - now THAT was a huge, pleasant surprise! I'd serve that to guests!

Meandering through northern Philly suburbia and happening upon this place was a treat. The apple cider gelato was out of this world. Perfect level of sweetness and spot on flavor. Only a few flavors on this menu but that’s refreshing to see in our modern world.

DON'T COME HERE IF YOU'RE BLACK. I stopped by to see what flavors they offered that day & in general. When I walked in the guy behind the counter looked at me and didn't speak. I then asked what flavors they offered and he pointed to the wall & then I asked do they have a list in general and he shook his head no. He couldn't even exert the energy to open his mouth to answer my question. It's not as if he were shy as he was having a full blow, interactive conversation before I walked in. I'll pass.
