“Though there was a mixup at first with our delivery driver, (my apologies for not updating the delivery instructions), the burgers were just as good as I remembered. As I told my husband last night, the burgers taste how Burger King wants to be. Flame grilled, flavorful, and always a double. I didn’t see an option to add cheese and bacon to my fries like there used to be but the fries were delicious regardless. My husband and I trailed off from getting delivery from this restaurant since the pandemic ended but perhaps after our dinner last night we’ll pick things back up. I miss my lava burger but the jalapeño burger was a nice substitute. Husband got the south Philly. Also, wasn’t there an option to switch your patty choice from beef to turkey? I digress. Still a five star meal. Might use DoorDash next time instead of Slice to avoid delivery confusion.“

“Luigi’s Pizza in Glenside is hands down one of the best pizza spots around! The food is always fresh and absolutely delicious. You can taste the quality in every bite—from the crispy crust to the flavorful sauce and perfectly melted cheese. “Loved dropping in here on a Saturday. Very relaxed vibes walking in here, perfect for a relaxed meet up, coffee or quick bite. My wife and I ordered the Ume Plum Tea, Vietnamese Latte, Khang’s Special Banh Mi, Crispy Tofu Banh Mi, and Doenjang Butter Fries. The Ume Plum Tea is so unique, and their Vietnamese Latte is the best I’ve had. Their food portions are big, and will definitely leave you full. Highly recommend this place!“

“Victory Brewing Company in Philly is hands-down one of the best brewery stops I’ve made in a while. The space is awesome, the beer is next-level, and the staff? Let’s just say they seriously bring the place to life.

Shout-out to Paige behind the bar—super cool, funny, and yeah… HOT! She made the whole experience even better with great energy and solid beer recs. Total rockstar.

Speaking of beer, Kelly’s Hero was the standout for me—not just because it’s delicious, but because the proceeds go toward ALS research. That kind of purpose behind a pint makes it even more worth drinking. Love to see a place mixing great beer with a great cause.

“I’m a HUGE fan of the Meadowlark. Food is creative and delicious, pastries are out of this world, mocha is absolutely top tier. I’ve never been disappointed. The environment is cozy, warm and welcoming and everyone is always so nice.Got my kiddo and. His friend a burger for lunch today and they RAVED about them (and the ability to add or remove things to make them kid friendly is fantastic!). His friend said it’s the best burger he’s ever had! “We hosted the rehearsal dinner for our wedding here in September 2024. We had about 50 people and were able to rent out the entire indoor space. The owner and staff were very welcoming and accommodating with our menu and bar options. Planning with them was a breeze. We were very happy with the food. We actually had a difficult time hitting the minimum at the end of the night! We highly recommend hosting your private party at Chestnut Hill Brewing!“

“My husband and I went here last Saturday night and food was great however Mario's new restaurant was loud on that particular saturday night. There was an excellent singer there named Gene and we wanted to hear him sing but the noise from everyone else dining in the restaurant prevented us from hearing him. He had such a beautiful voice that we were unable to appreciate.“

“I’ve been visiting this restaurant for a little over a year now and it’s easily one of my favorite spots. I typically come during late lunch hours, grab a seat at the bar and enjoy some quiet time reading, scrolling, or chatting with the staff.

The service is always top-notch. Becky and Carlito are incredible , welcoming, attentive and just genuinely good energy to be around. They both also makes the best spicy strawberry margaritas, hands down !

Now the food? Always fresh, always hot and packed with flavor. I rotate between two favorites but let me just say the chicken verde enchiladas are next-level ! The chicken is tender, the verde sauce is flavorful with just the right amount of tang and spice and it’s plated with care. Every bite hits. It’s comforting, satisfying, and honestly one of the best versions I’ve had anywhere. When I’m not ordering that, I go for the steak fajitas which are equally amazing and full of flavor.

The vibe is relaxed, friendly, and never too crowded. It’s a great spot whether you’re coming solo, on a date or with family.

While I do wish they stayed open a bit later, I appreciate that keeping limited hours helps them maintain their high standard of service and food quality. That’s rare and worth protecting.

“I was having a sushi craving… and thought we would give Sushi Ocean a try. And it was so good!! We did take out, but went in to pick it up, it looked quaint and clean. Our food wasn’t quite ready, so the gal asked if we were waiting in our car and she would bring out to the car. Definitely a win for me as well as my kids. Will be going back again. The fish was fresh, and they were reasonably priced. Got a lot for our money!!“
