If it weren’t for friends that already knew about this place, not sure that we would’ve ended up here. It’s like right in the middle of a neighborhood. Food was delicious though! I chose to have a pizza. The White pizza on the menu. Everyone in my group was done eating by the time it came out but it was worth the wait!! It was 18” of white cheese garlic heaven! And I was so hungry, I forgot to take picture! A couple friends had the Club Hoagie and Spicy Italian Hoagie....
I can not praise this place enough for the fantastic eats they produce every week. From the specials that end up on the menu to their every day fare. I have never had a bad bite and I’m super picky 🤣. I love to see the little hints of comfort food that reminds me of my time in Buffalo, NY, the cup and char pepperoni and the mortadella melt they have. Also the nod to Philadelphia with their delicious massive hoagies. I lived in both places and it makes me happy knowing I can...
We've been wanting to try Shake Down BBQ out for a while and we finally were able to visit. We had a pepperoni pizza and wings with the bbq sauce. Both were very good and we plan to come back for sure. Pizza was a little pricier than other places but it was also bigger and you pay for what you get...this pizza was worth it. We definitely will be back for pizza again and can't wait to try some other things out as well.
