The Wharf Bar & Grill Reviews
Always good food , had my 75th birthday party there it was great the servers were so nice and helpful . I recommend the Wharf to anyone .
Small portions of entree- literally 2x2 piece of salmon… but usually friendly crowd, nice deck, often has music
Food has gone down hill. Before Covid I would go all the time as I lived close. Menu was much larger and better. During Covid menu was smaller to be expected but was still really good. Something happened since new owners bought it. Sure they built a nice outdoor area, but the menu continues to get worse. I finally said no more after this weekend. Ordered something simple, a quesadilla. It came out with soggy peppers, the outside full of vegetable oil. Absolutely disgusting....read full review

The Wharf Bar & Grill is a lively and interesting place that offers a variety of experiences. It has a fun, fisherman's pier vibe that, while slightly out of place in its location, adds a unique character to the setting. The restaurant features outdoor seating and a large, covered patio area with a play place for kids, making it a popular spot for families. The outdoor space is well-designed, with a lot of effort put into creating a comfortable environment. Inside, the atmosphere can vary; it is often lively, especially on weekends, with a great bar scene, plenty of TVs for sports, and occasional live music like Croatian music or Christmas carols. There is also entertainment such as bingo or public lectures in the back room.
Guests have enjoyed the food, with favorites like the crab pretzel and the salmon dish, although some found certain meals bland or overly oily, and one person noted a bad smell in the indoor area. Service is generally friendly and quick, but experiences vary; some have noted spills and long waits for seating. The bar area is busy and welcoming, especially during events like the SEC Championship game or lamb roast events, which create a celebratory atmosphere. Parking can be tricky, so visitors are advised to plan ahead. Overall, The Wharf Bar & Grill is a fun, friendly spot suitable for outdoor dining, sports, and casual gatherings, though some may find the indoor experience less consistent.
