I coordinated a lunch event for Black History Month for both 1st and 2nd shift and let's just say it was a big hit. They do not disappoint and we will be doing business with Queens again. “I visited here on a Tuesday at 6pm for a work-related and social gathering. The service and food were quite good, yet even on a weekday and being upstairs, the decibel level was rather high dye to it also being a bar. The menu selection was more than adequate and prices reasonable. Street parking can be a challenge, however I found a safe spot about one block away, and parking was free after 5pm on weekdays. The restroom was clean, and I find this important in that if management doesn't prioritize bathrooms, they may not value kitchen cleanliness either, but maybe that's just me. I give it a 4 star and not a 5 due to noise”
“Rarely do I find a steak house that exceeds my expectations. Having been to St. Elmo’s in Indianapolis, the bar is set high. That being said this far exceeded my expectations. The steaks were great, cooked perfectly. The drinks and deserts were world class and I’m honestly shocked even as I write this. Highly recommend, especially given the area. I have tried other local restaurants and nothing comes close. The staff was incredible. The food was brilliant. It’s a 5 star !!”

“i had an issue where the server charged me for two sodas and an iced tea with my meal. i only ordered the meal and a water. i told her before she ran my card, and still she messed it up. my card was charged for things i didn’t order or eat. i called in and it was made right by Randy. he was very polite and a pleasure to deal with”

I hate when you stand at the counter and they leave you waiting for a long time on your break I stood at the counter for 10 minutes and called twice to see how long it would take for them to take an order over the phone and the same people standing in front of you answer the phone at two different counters and yet don't even bother to take your order that you are standing in front of them.”

“Pizza in the area can be hit or miss but David's is always consistently delicious!! Nice thin crust, cheese has great flavor and the sauce is the perfect blend of savory and sweet. The hoagies are handmade sub rolls and loaded with fresh ingredients. We also enjoy their Stromboli as well. Easy ordering and quick service .. prices are reasonable too. Definitely a must check out joint!”
“The young woman Jill could tell we were newbies. She came around the counter and explained everything to us and even made recommendations. The food was ready quickly and Jill even included some peach cobbler for us to try for being new. The lemonade was just like fair lemonade. The food was above and beyond our expectations. The place was clean and we loved the look. Scott checked on us often and even brought us cups to put sauce in on a tray so we could easily try them all. He also displayed over the top customer service. At the end he brought us boxes to put our left overs in and asked if we would ever return. After we told him we loved it and would tell everybody we know about it and that we would for sure be back in the future he gave us each a coupon for a complimentary sandwich! We live 7.5 hours away and are on vacation. We had some very bad luck recently and some less than pleasant news this morning while on vacation. These guys made our day with their amazing food and exceptional customer service. Best place we have ever been between food, decor, cleanliness, and customer service!”

Their baked goods are on point and the coffee even more so. I’d recommend this spot to anyone who finds themselves in downtown Harrisburg in need of a caffeine fix.”

They have a signature wing called the "Lemon Pepper Steppers", that are by far the BEST in the entire city of Harrisburg. Now believe what you will, but don't make the mistake of not trying ANYTHING on the menu before going to the other place. “Overall food was good. I had my iftar there with lamb Chop and lahori nan /roti. Nan wasn’t properly cooked. However, the lamb chop was pretty good. I also ordered lamb Biriyani which was good too.”

Ppl are allergic to these sort of things or have severe lactose intolerants. Which could cause real serious issues.”
“My son's favorite McDonald's to go to. He is 5 years old and likes to go in to order his food and pay for it with his money. Both times he has done this, the staff were super friendly and patient with him. They talk to him instead of dismissing him and only talking to me like some other places. The inside is clean and nice for a kid to eat at. Also, the cheeseburger happy meal is only $4.98. So when my son gets his 5 dollar allowance, he loves we can go there to eat!! Eisenhower Blvd is about 6.25 for the same happy meal and not as good customer service. So you should definitely drive the extra 3 minutes it takes to get to Paxton St. Best McDonald's in the area for sure Parking: Right when you pull in there is 4 spots to the right. With additional handicap spots. If you go around the building past the drive thru there is more parking spots. I never have a problem finding a parking spot at 5pm on weekdaysKid-friendliness: The staff is so kind to kids!! 4 of them all interacted with my son and were very friendly.”

“This is a little Hidden Gem Taco Shop the food is very good considering the price it is extremely reasonable the steak tacos leave a little bit to be desired but the chicken tacos are absolutely fantastic I recommend them over the steak tacos the steak was grizzly a bit dry so I don't recommend it but the chicken tacos were fantastic and I highly recommend them make sure you ask for their house hot sauce it's delicious”

“what a great new restaurant! My father and I tried it out tonight because our go-to Chinese restaurant was closed. The menu was definitely a Nepalese/Himalayan feel to it. The restaurant is small, but clean and smells good. The lady at the register was very sweet and gave us some info about the dishes on the menu. my father ordered Pork Chow Mein, and I ordered something called Chicken Johl Momo. We also ordered cups of Chai tea. Everything was fresh and delicious. My dad loved his dish, and he's a hard person to please. We will definitely be back and I wish them much success.”

I know my pastries well, they are top notch. the bread is also excellent. thanks! and the one on front street. what. a nice view of the Susquehanna river to eat outside under a canopy. very nice. in a very good area on front street. prices are reasonable. staff is friendly living about an hour away will make the trip at least every 2 months to stock up on bread and get pastries. took almost 7 years for us to find this gem. everything we found to the east near Allentown was good but way too. expensive and not in best area. I tell you if you are a cannoli person you have to go it's a must the best one ive ever had and ive been to many Italian pastry shops in the bronx, Manhattan, westchester NY. will be visiting before every holiday. a tip - if you are gonna get there in late afternoon, call ahead to order bread, and pastries they will hold them for you in boxes/bags, because if not, they sell out early. I wasn't able to find a good not even decent bakery anywhere near where we live in any direction for miles. finally did. a little short trip but man is it worth it. we are so happy.”

Then after a grueling month, I found Pepper Pot.Firstly, when you walked into the restaurant, YOU SMELL THE FOOD IMMEDIATELY! That is a big deal because it says that they are cooking food on spot, versus cooking earlier and leaving it out.I had the oxtail, rice and plantain. Oxtail was falling off the bone, properly seasoned, and browned to perfection. The white rice was cooked well, not soggy at all. The plantains were a bit half ripe and I prefer ripe plantain but I ended up going back to order another portion because it was still good.The service was IMPECCABLE!! The lady almost brought a tear to my eye because besides the food, I got a taste of our warm Caribbean love and charisma.I thank the owners of Pepper Pot so much and would ALWAYS recommend!”

We have been here on several occasions. Also the Tangler Burger and fries are awesome. Our most recent visit was for Easter Dinner. Our family plans changed on the Friday before Easter and the staff at Dodge City was more than accommodating with getting us a reservation spot on their already busy schedule. Thanks so much! I ordered online for a Oreo cake and when I got it the presentation was very pleasing. The boxing looked really good and they even added some extras on top of the cake for free. The only thing I would change is that in the website i would show the size of the cake other than putting a measurement. Or you can do small medium and big. People don't use their brain when there on any site and this is coming from a future web developer.”

The staff speaks both English and Spanish, so you can communicate comfortably in whichever language you prefer.Inside, the same vibrant yellow color scheme continues, along with blue and red, which are the colors of the Venezuelan flag. Some expertly drawn chalk designs adorn a few wall areas painted black, adding an artistic touch to the ambiance.We savored a variety of dishes, including vegan arepas (plantain, avocado, and beans), a cachapa with cheese, a vegetarian empanada, a steak dish, and a maltín drink, among others. The green sauce they provided took the food to another level. There is a good spread of meat, seafood and no meat dishes. Cocktails were well made. Service was friendly and on the mark., even understating of my screwup in ordering a drink which they replaced without any problem. Now, we come from the DC area and the prices here are what we would call DC level but the quality and value make it well worth it. 100% recommend for a nice evening- especially if you like to try different things.”

“This review is based on my experience there tonight. February 17th. I have been going to this restaurant for two years. The service is generally wonderful. The food is great. The restaurant is beautiful and based on my prior experience I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. However, tonight was the first time I felt some level of prejudicial behavior. I got to the restaurant around 7:30pm. I sat at the bar. I waited for a while to be acknowledged. That was fine. It was a little busy. Eventually the heavier set male bartender approached me about my order. I asked him for a drink. I also asked him what the weekend specials were. The moment I said "specials" , he looked annoyed. He responded by telling me he's not sure what Im talking about as the restaurant does not have specials. This response was followed by him walking away from me, in a dismissive manner, and also telling the other bartender I was asking for specials and he let me know they didnt have any.This was odd to me because usually on the weekends they do have specials. Also that is the description of the menu. They're called "specials". The bartenders and servers, refer to that menu as "specials". This is the nomenclature they use. Keep in mind these are not cheaper meals. The Specials reflect something that they are specifically serving that weekend thats not on the. menu normally.Two minutes later, after dismissing my question, I see him walk over to another group of people sitting at the bar, and he clearly and loudly says "Hi. So let me tell you about our specials tonight". Naturally I was flabbergasted.When he came back to where I was seated, I asked him why he told me there were no specials, and what exactly did he think I meant when I asked him about Specials. He claimed, he was confused and not thinking.I also watched him offer everyone water.....except me. So I had to ask him if and when he had the time would he get me some water. He responded by saying "oh wow. Im just messing up tonight." To which I responded by saying. You seem to be messing up specifically with me for some reason. Now I'll admit I was dressed in a hoodie and a baseball cap. Im not sure if this impacted his service towards me, or if it was the most obvious difference between me and the rest of the patrons. You can guess what that was, if that is the case.I want to be clear. I, in no way, think this is the culture of the restaurant. Ive had great food and great service there in the past. This is possibly a reflection of that one bartender. This is the first time I ever felt uncomfortable in there.”

Then after a grueling month, I found Pepper Pot.Firstly, when you walked into the restaurant, YOU SMELL THE FOOD IMMEDIATELY! That is a big deal because it says that they are cooking food on spot, versus cooking earlier and leaving it out.I had the oxtail, rice and plantain. Oxtail was falling off the bone, properly seasoned, and browned to perfection. The white rice was cooked well, not soggy at all. The plantains were a bit half ripe and I prefer ripe plantain but I ended up going back to order another portion because it was still good.The service was IMPECCABLE!! The lady almost brought a tear to my eye because besides the food, I got a taste of our warm Caribbean love and charisma.I thank the owners of Pepper Pot so much and would ALWAYS recommend!”
“Stopped in for breakfast. Nice menu, affordable prices and the food is delicious. Love having tots as a breakfast potato option and those tots were piping hot and crispy delicious. I had sausage eggs Benedict which I have never seen on a menu before. The eggs were perfectly poached, a great plate of food. Don't sleep on this place. Looking forward to our next visit.”

I believe this was from being packaged next to hot items not actually being bad itself. But still not appealing or appetizing to eat. That is the reason for the 4* review at this time. “My family had really really enjoyed dinner here on Saturday night. Even though it is an hour and a half away from where we live, my sister and niece meet a few times each year. I was hesitant to go because I did not feel the quality of buffet food is good. Had bad experiences in the past, and always got sick afterwards. This restaurant was clean and the food is fresh and delicious. Some of the things I enjoyed were the ribs, breaded shrimp, sushi rolls, hibachi shrimp and steak,, and shrimp with some type of crab stuffing on top. Most people seem to enjoy the ice cream for dessert as there were Several flavors. I have some fruit and macaroons. The melons were hard and not ripe. Service was excellent! They kept the restaurant claimed, or quick to take away your plates and bring whatever you need. Even though every table was taken, it did not feel overcrowded. Everyone seem to be enjoying the food and atmosphere.”

I hate when you stand at the counter and they leave you waiting for a long time on your break I stood at the counter for 10 minutes and called twice to see how long it would take for them to take an order over the phone and the same people standing in front of you answer the phone at two different counters and yet don't even bother to take your order that you are standing in front of them.”

Lots of noise and busyness and some yelling. The cashier was courteous and kind though, keep it up!
