KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot offers a welcoming atmosphere with friendly and attentive servers who provide excellent service. The restaurant features a wide range of meats, seafood, and tasty cocktails, making it a great spot for both KBBQ enthusiasts and newcomers. Guests can cook their food to their liking, choosing from a variety of options, and enjoy a side bar with many choices such as rice, veggies, and sauces, including milder options like peanut and ponzu sauces. The menu also includes Korean dishes like kimchi and spicy octopus, as well as egg rolls, fried rice, and desserts around the corner for self-service. Inside, the ambiance is modern with high ceilings and plenty of seating, though it can be dimly lit and may leave a BBQ smell. The service is knowledgeable, with waiters able to recommend dishes, and the overall experience is fun and engaging. The restaurant offers the ability to add hot pot for $5 more per person, but everyone at the table must choose both options, with a small charge for wasted food. While there is no carry-out service, the atmosphere and variety make KPOT a special occasion place, with prices around $30.99 per person for dinner or weekends. Guests appreciate the freshness of the food and the helpful staff, and many look forward to returning for future occasions.
Many visitors find the concept of cooking themselves very beautiful, and the food, especially the bacon and marinated meat, is highly praised. The Korean seafood soup is also recommended, though it is slightly spicy and might be too hot for those sensitive to spice. The staff, including servers and the person who brings the meats, are very kind and attentive, making the experience even better. Overall, the quick service and attentive servers contribute to a positive dining experience, and repeat visitors often mention the friendly staff like Rickel, who provides excellent service. The atmosphere, variety, and friendly staff make KPOT a favorite spot for casual and special occasions alike.
