Gyro and boli was great.. however got a sandwich for kiddo and chicken was overcooked and dried out that the 14 yr old wouldn't eat it...Definitely will check to go order before leaving next time.

The food was very yummy. They gave me an extra piece of fish because the other piece was small. Everyone here was really nice too. The Trainwreck fries were scrumdidddlyumptious. Best part of my trip to states.

Absolutely loved the liver and onions..done to perfection. I live in Mechanicsburg and don't like traveling across the river but this was well worth the drive. I'll be back again!!Parking: Lots of cars but we found a spot for dinner at 6 pm.

My wife and I stopped in on a whim, a Friday evening at 5 pm. The early diners were just clearing out and we were seated immediately in a booth in the large dining room just off of the bar area. It was clean, comfy, bright and cheery. We had eaten here about three years ago and found it ok, but nothing special. I understand it's under new ownership now and we enjoyed an excellent dinner on this evening. The menu is expanded to include many dinner options well beyond bar food. We keep mostly vegetarian and found only a few options, but as we occasionally add fish to our diet, we found much more from which to choose. She ordered baked haddock and I ordered fish and chips. She also ordered a cocktail and I got a draft beer.Service was not exactly rapid, but it was not unacceptably slow either. We were in the middle of the Friday night dinner hour, so we make allowances for the bar and kitchen being suddenly flooded with orders. Our server, although not exactly bright and cheery, was efficient. Our food arrived hot, correct and looking very good. My wife was particularly pleased with her order. It looked amazing. My fish and chips were quite good, perhaps not the best in the area, but prepared very well. The french fries were thick cut, cooked perfectly the way I like them. The owner stopped by to chat as we were finishing our meal. He was very welcoming and engaging, and It added a really nice touch to our dining experience. We'll certainly make The Wharf one of our regular restaurants.Vegetarian options: We saw only limited vegetarian options on the dinner menu. Lots of seafood options, though, so we were ok as we do eat fish.

The wings were impressive, although the mild sauce had a distinct barbecue flavor that was a bit unexpected. Aside from that, the service and ambiance were pleasant, contributing to an overall enjoyable experience.

Stopped by The Wharf today after a trip to Sam's Club. This is my first visit here. My server Joyce provided excellent customer service including recommending the Cheese Steak Boli. The Boli was light and airy with a good amount of steak and cheese. It was was served with a rustic style marinara that was delectable. I ordered the small boli, and it was large enough to serve at least 2. I brought more than half of it home. Their prices were more than reasonable, including a $3 Yuengling draft. The Wharf is set up as a sports bar with at least seven or eight large screen TVs on the wall. Despite the fact that all of the TVs were on and there was a small crowd in the place, it still wasn't loud. This is an excellent place for a quick lunch and a draft. They had a large selection of appetizer and meal options including brick oven pieces and efficient chips. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Went there for lunch, I specifically asked the bartender if they could make the wings crispy. She ensured they could. When they came out they were " chewy"I told her I would just take them home and put in air fryer. She said they had been busy ( when order was placed) but they were not any longer. She insisted I let them do over. They 100 % came out crispy( almost burnt) they also came out dry with the sauce in a small salad dressings size container on the side.I have had crispy wings at multiple places that didn't require sauce on the side, not tossed.Yes, wings can be " soggy" if they sit for a long time. But they were " chewy" when I got the first order. The fry cook response was to be passive aggressive and put sauce on the side and over nearly burn.Lesson...Don't eat there because the quality left with the first owners, and if you do eat there, don't complain because YOU are wrong.
