What a place! You will have an unforgettable night here.The colonial atmosphere, excellent food, and the drinks are top shelf. The food is worth more than the price. Definitely a must stop and eat. The bar is a great place to gather with friends and business professionals.

My first time here and it was very good. My friend and I both had the Jager Schnizel. They gave a lot and I could not finish it but nice to have leftovers. The salad that came with it was the perfect size. I hate when restaurants give you a big side salad. Service was very friendly. Wine was good and a nice pour. Prices are decent. I will be back for sure to try something else.

This past weekend I took my mom to The Sumneytown Hotel for her birthday lunch. It was disappointing. Both the food and service were sub par. The wait staff was distracted with talking to each other while we were forced to wait for a long time for the food to come out. It made for an awkward experience. I regret not getting up to leave. We ordered the clams, which was one of the specials. We were served less than a dozen small clams with only two small slices of bread for the broth. I ordered the porto sandwich. The meat was overcooked, the egg was runny and it was almost impossible to cut with the butter knife that they gave me with the dish. I gave up half way through. My mom, who is not a fussy person ordered the Lemon egg linguine. The pasta and peas were overcooked and dried out. She was not a fan. The bill for this lunch came to $83 which I wouldn’t mind paying for a good dining experience, but this was not. I will not be returning to this establishment or recommending it to anyone I know.

Our table ordered the maple ham, the oyster pot pie, the chicken pie, and the philly cheese steak. Everything was so delicious, perfectly seasoned and artistically garnished. Our waiter took excellent care of us. We enjoyed looking at the historical polaroids of the inn that were by the table centerpiece flowers. I forgot to take pictures of the food because we dug in right away!

I ate lunch here last month The food was very good. I was excited to bring some friends back, unfortunately, the experience was not good. My Friend and I ordered lobster rolls. They were $26. The lobster rolls were very small Which I wouldn’t mind if the lobster was good it was not. It was very tough and hard to chew. I should’ve sent them back immediately, which i regret…. My friend had the BLT salmon, salmon looked like it was over cooked, and it was a very small portion of salmon… The Owner was our server, when I told him that the lobster was very tough and hard to chew his response was OK… it appeared he really didn’t care. this is a very unfortunate experience and I hope by reading this review some things can be corrected

Several of us got burgers and none of them came with sauce, and only 1 was cooked right. It would’ve been alright but the burger/fry combo was $20. The inside is pretty nice.
Favorite place around!! Food, people, atmosphere 10/10. Hoping the octopus makes a comeback!

This is a higher end place for an elegant dinner. We had appetizers to include calamari which was excellent. I had the Jaeger schnitzel which was a bit too thick and didn't come with mushroom gravy. Deserts were excellent.

The best service, food and atmosphere in the area! I've had apps, sandwiches and entrees and they are all 10/10. The team there is so friendly and the atmosphere is the best around! Make reservations if you want a table because it's always busy!
