They allow me to do art in their clean & comfortable environment. Great food, lovely staff, and fast + friendly service! A real gem.

I was in town visiting my mom and got the peanut butter chocolate açaí bowl twice. It was so good! The staff is friendly and quick. I’ll go there again the next time I’m in town.

We made sure to stop here on our road trip, and we are sure glad we did! The açaí bowl was loaded with blueberries, granola, strawberries, and other healthy foods. It didn’t taste overloaded with sugar either like many other “healthy” foods are. This place has a true commitment to healthy foods. We left satisfied and feeling that we had made one further step on our journey to healthy living.

Everything they make is delicious and from scratch. However, them now closing at 4pm means no longer being able to go after work or school when everyone is free and looking forward to grabbing something yummy (and healthy). We're going to miss coming here. Maybe 1 of these days we can catch them during their new hours.

This place is worth the trip - not just once, but on a regular basis.

I lived in NYC for 7 years and there is an açaí/smoothie place in every neighborhood.

Fruits & Roots is at or above the level of anywhere I had a açaí bowl in Manhattan or Brooklyn. Not just because of the quality, time, and care put into each bowl - but also because the young women that work there are pleasant and helpful, and even though they are very busy at lunchtime, always smile and say hello to every customer, and act like they want to be there.

It is a little off the beaten path on a sleepy road near the Westmoreland Mall - but if you want an amazing smoothie bowl there probably isn’t a better place for 50 miles.

I live in Pittsburgh and work in the Greensburg area 1-2 times a week - kudos to the owner and staff for such a wonderful place that I look forward to eating lunch at every time I’m in the area.

Tried Fruits and Roots for the first time on Sep 24, 2022 and loved it. Had the Açaí Bowl and the Banana Peanut Butter. They were both fantastic, everything tasted so fresh and delicious. Will definitely be visiting again.Second visit on May 5, 2023 and tried the Banana Bread Bowl. I love them all so there is no real clear winner..... they are all fantastic.20231228 Had the Açaí Bowl. Stopped By here on my way back from Greensburg. I used to live out here years ago. So sad something like this wasn't around at that time. I ordered the Dragon bowl with a side of their house made Nutella . Everything was fresh and delicious. The smoothie bowl was superb. The Nutella was unlike anything I had. Very pricey, but understandably so.
