Old Route 66 Grille

My family and I finally went here last weekend for the first time. The atmosphere was beautiful. It’s a cozy family restaurant that is decorated currently for Christmas. We loved all the trees and twinkling lights. Very festive and tasteful.
The staff was very friendly and efficient.
The food was just what we were looking for that night- diner fare and traditional family meals. We ordered the cheese sticks with marinara as an appetizer. The kids got hot dogs and cheese burgers with fries. My husband enjoyed his steak sandwich. I got the BLT- bacon cooked perfectly- with a bowl of tomato soup with large, garlicky croutons both of which I’m positive were house made and very good.
We will definitely go back and try some of their dinner features.

Always love the atmosphere here..classic! Excellent food. Wonderful local restaurant, that I enjoy frequently. Great service, everyone is friendly and helpful. Mike, the owner, always circulates, to check with guests that they are satisfied. Makes it personal.

Good food Good people

Stopped for lunch here and enjoyed their Friday special of a fish sandwich with coleslaw and fries for $13.XX - I was served by a very kind and quick staff. Food was quick and tasted great. The soup of the day was beef and barley, also tasty. This was a much better decision than wendy’s. Now I’m on my way and ate, as my mother would say, like a person. Would recommend.

Old style deco, larger inside than appears from outside. If you appreciate nostalgia you'll like this grill. We had open face steak sandwiches. Steaks were done exactly the way we ordered it. Ice tea was perfect for me because I like it a little stronger than most restaurants serve it. French fries were very good and crispy.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are double doors but plenty of room for maneuvering a chair once you're inside.

Food and service is great. Could use an update and ladies room needs a lot of love it really looks and smells bad.

Food was good and the service was fine. I just think $17.77 for a rueben sandwich, fries and water may be a bit much for a quick lunch bite imo. Not a bad place..just a little miffed on the prices.

Steak was cooked perfectly but not seasoned at all. Salt, pepper, and garlic powder go a long way.

Really good food. We were in at a slower time of day, the manager actually waited on us. Nice guy. Between the good food and service, you could hardly go wrong stopping in here.
