i wanted to take my boyfriend somehere special for his birthday, April 21. one of the first places that came to mind was Olives and Peppers. I'd been to the restaurant in Trafford and was very pleased but I live in Jeannette and wanted to try the train station location. inwant to say first off, the wait staff is wonderfu. nothing wrong there. my boyfriend ordered ravioli..it was great. I ordered vodka Cretini which had a pasta that was dense similar to gnocchi. I requested the pasta to be cooked soft vs Al dente. I prefer pasta softer not gummy. The pasta was hard almost crunchy. The hot sausage ordered with it was blazing hot and the one end of it was petrified...and was returned to the kitchen. to avoid this another time, I ordered angel hair and meatball in the vodka sauce. When it came it was A bowl of soupy much. The pasta was overcooked (maybe overcompensating for the undercooked pasta or a fireback from the chef?) Couldn't find the meatballs under the soupy mess. I didn't eat any of it. the dish was comped but ruined a birthday meal for a special person's birthday...never again.

Better come hungry. The portions are huge! A lot of food for a medium price. We had the Italian hoagie, the Steak hoagie and Lasagna. Everything tasted good. Service was swift and polite.

Whoever owns this restaurant should take a serious look at your manager, I’ve never been treated so rudely and unfriendly in my lifeI don’t care how much food you give me at what price it’s not worth it, go someplace else where people actually talk to the customer

Very good food. Out waitress did a good job and I loved the building and atmosphere overall. I had the chicken parm and it was good and more than filling.

Nice Italian restaurant in the Greensburg train station. I enjoyed the wedding soup, and we shared a great bacon cheeseburger

Stopped here for lunch while in the area. We shared the burrata which was good but nothing special. My mom got the pistachio crushed salmon, and I got the chicken romano. Salmon was a little overcooked and overpriced. The chicken was decent and quite a large portion.

Make a reservation, even on a Sunday. Especially when the Kenny Wayne Sheperd Band is in town.

Went for my birthday. Everything started off well, then we waited for an hr and 15min on our entrees. Then waitress came out 5 min before our food to tell us they were out of the side we ordered.. the food came out and mine was ice cold ,they offered to remake. (No thanks I had already waited this long). Then my family told them when we got there to bring a dessert out at the end of dinner. And wouldn't you know it , she informs us they are out of deserts.??? Accept some plain gelato... . The staff could have cared less when we tried to discuss these issues with them.

Food was outstanding. Located in an old train station sits a delicious Italian restaurant. High top tables are first come first serve and on weekends - reservations are recommended. Had the greens & beans, zucchini & chicken Romano! Definitly recommend the chicken- perfectly cooked and the best flavors

First visit today and everything was great. Attentive staff, huge flavorful portions of pasta that can easily be shared and warm old train station vibe. We will be back
