Horrible experience! I showed up there to order a large pizza to go 10 minutes after they opened and was told that it wouldn't be ready for an hour and a half. The old guy working up front, which I'm assuming is the owner, made me feel like I was bothering him coming into the restaurant. Then I asked if they could cut my large pizza into eight slices instead of the 15 slices that they normally cut it and he told me I don't know if she'll do it. The quality of the pizza wasn't horrible but it was nothing special either.

Just good old fashioned chitty pizza. I've been eating royal since 98 and nothing has really changed and that's a good thing.

Called to order a pick up pizza and they only are selling beer and don’t close for 40 minutes … terrible customer service if you ask me

Since I became a member of the fine city of Greensburg, I had wanted to try out some of the local establishments that simply were out of my way when I lived in Latrobe. One of those places was the Royal Pizza House, which I finally got to try out today. Because they have the Monday Large with one topping special, I figured it would be a great place to start, along with an order of the provolone cheese sticks
(And, as an aside, I am so glad they actually call it by its true name and not just a? stick like a LOT of other places do, because it's kind of lazy and doesn't do it true justice).
The ?was pretty good, it had a unique taste to the sauce, but being a veteran of the take-out pizza game, it's nothing that I was not prepared for. I wasn't prepared for how good the crust tasted, as it had sort of a pretzel quality to it, which I enjoyed. And this is coming from someone who doesn't enjoy pizza crust unless it is epic, or stuffed, etc.
I'm not entirely sure who this woman is that many people have lampooned, because I had a gentlemen wait on me, and he was pretty nice.
All in all, I'm sure I'll be back, it's easily accessible since I live diagonally up the block from them!
