Very good food. We had breakfast and my western omelet was very moist and tasted great. Service was very friendly and pleasant. Cute decor inside.

I have genuinely had mediocre breakfast and amazing breakfast, I’m sorry to say that you guys don’t even deserve one star, I’d rather of spent the same amount of money at McDonald’s ,usually I’d be like well let’s try it out one more time but I can’t even do that I ordered a western bowl which was on the menu o received a western omelette with raw crunchy peppers in it and no cheese no sides or anything my daughter ordered a breakfast plate with scrambled eggs hash browns and bacon scrambled eggs tasted like pure nothing and hash browns were terrible almost looked like straw for my barn never again

What a gem, this family owned business is located in South Greensburg, Pa. The atmosphere is very farmhouse friendly. The dining area is decorated with animals, farmhouse signs, and quotes on the walls, which keep the customers engaged as well as the greeting when you walk through the door. The staff is attentive and friendly as well as efficient. The orders are cooked as ordered, fresh hot and delicious, but beware, the portions are not small! Come hungry or share a plate but take the time to eat at the South Greensburg Restaurant. There is always plenty of parking in the lot behind the restaurant or parking on the street.Parking: Plenty of parking in the lot behind the restaurant and street parking in front of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly menu and options are available added with a fun atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: ADA Access is available into the restaurant - a ramp in front is accessible for wheelchairs, hover rounds and scooters.

I've only been here once for breakfast and realize that is only one data point but I probably won't return for breakfast food. I was looking for a good diner breakfast but the food was really just average, if that. I had a dish that had several items in it so I got a good mix of what they had to offer. None of it really impressed me or my girlfriend enough to come back. However, I might return for a sandwich or dinner food in the future just to give them a fair chance. The staff was really friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was nice. We did have to wait a while when we arrived, even though there were a few tables open. I just assumed it was because they were understaffed but don't know for sure.

i don’t understand how this place has 4.5 stars. my family of 5 had to wait over an hour to get our food, and when we FINALLY got it, it was terrible! i asked for scrambled eggs, i got chunky fried eggs and boiled ham on the side that tasted like turkey? the waffle i had tasted like a hotel waffle. the pancakes were huge, which was fun, but my dads strawberry waffle was so full of sugar it made him sick- he couldn’t even eat it.everyone in my family was VERY disappointed with their meals.that being said, the service was absolutely wonderful. such kind and helpful employees!!! very very nice!!! just wish the food was better.

Wow! The service is exceptional. You feel like a regular even when you are an out-of-towner just grabbing a bite for breakfast before hitting the road. I didn't find the food to be as amazing. The French toast had chunks of cinnamon and was cold. The home fries didn't have that crisp good honefries need and tasted a little like metal. The eggs were overcooked and rubbery. The sausage was delicious but pink. That doesn't bother me in pork but I know it would bother some people. Still, it looked homemade and it was yummy. I overheard the owner giving cooking or possibly prep instructions in the kitchen. So, maybe there was a new line cook and it will improve because you could certainly tell from the atmosphere to the service that these people take pride on their establishment.
