What a wonderful surprise for a new option on our way for weekends in Ligonier. Had a delicious Mexican style breakfast which is heavy on the menu and decor. Something we love being we are a part Mexican family. Seriously, where can you find plantains as a side?! So happy.😊 Will have to return for the delish cocktails. Just over all wonderful, including the well thought out decor!

I needed a quick bite before jury duty, since this place was right across from the courthouse. It opened up at 8 AM so I came in as soon as I saw the open light on. I vaguely felt I remembered this place as a young girl, grabbing a hot dog in a small lowdown restaurant(the kind with the descending stairs, hidden away). If it’s the same restaurant, they relished in success & the thought alone made me happy!
The were wonderful, fast, & kind. I entered at 8AM, got everything, and finished my food by 8:15AM. I had a glass of milk & water. Tortilla chips with pico & guac. Weird choice but absolutely no issues. It was tasty and fresh. Clean, cute, and relaxing. That is what I’m talking about!

Very good coffee, and I really enjoyed the Huevos Rancheros Frittata. It was a bit loud, but there wasn't much they can really do about that.

Cute little sit down dining type of cafe. We had breakfast and everything was pretty good. The staff were very friendly and personable. Prices are about average for the area. There is no parking lot but there is street parking and a parking lot down the street a bit. Would visit again~

I had a bridal shower for my daughter and Sun Dawg catered my event. The food was absolutely amazing! My friends and family are still asking who catered it. Rachel is so easy to work with and her staff was prompt and very professional! 10 stars to Sun Dawg and I will recommend to everyone!

I’ve been loving this place since it lived in the basement next door, and while I wish they would bring back the falafel tacos, the breakfast tacos I had today were great.
I don’t get to Sun Dawg as often as I should, but was able to visit today thanks to Run Relay and we all enjoyed ourselves.
Anytime you leave full and want to take the leftovers I call it a win.
The pancakes are always solid, I love that their menu changes, and they come up with some really fun specials.

Sun Dawg Café – A Must-Visit Spot!
I stopped by Sun Dawg Café this afternoon and had an amazing experience. I ordered the carne asada tacos, and they were absolutely delicious! The beef was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right, with a great balance of flavors in every bite. The fresh toppings and warm tortillas made them even better.
The atmosphere at Sun Dawg Café is relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal. Whether you’re a taco lover or just looking for a great place to grab a bite, I highly recommend checking it out! I’ll definitely be back.

Prices are on the high side - $9 for two small breakfast tacos isn't what I would call a bargain. Small in size, not really all that flavorful.
Steak and Cheese sounded promising with caramelized onions and cheese whiz. This sandwich would be a winner if it had a different bun - waaaaay too much bun for the sandwich.
Overall, I wouldn't say the place is bad. It just doesn't sit where its price point puts it.
