So, my husband and I were returning home from a weekend trip and I talked of how I've long wanted to take a road trip with no specific destination - one where I would just keep an eye out for interesting signs (museums, quirky stores, historic sites, parks, etc.). The kind of things I think about stopping to check out, but don't because I'm focused on the destination. So hubby suggested making one such stop on our way home - and lo and behold - Wilhem Winery. I enjoyed a tasting - very reasonably priced - and selected some wine to take home. The best part may have been the wine-making museum upstairs. Small, but really interesting. The gift shop is fairly typical of a small winery, but I always find it fun to browse. With plenty of seating, I'm sure this is a great place to hang out and sip wine with friends on a nice day.

Friendly country folks that make some great Pa wine. Wilhelm Red is our family favorite makes great Sangria just add fruit we always keep a jug of elderberry for medicinal purposes

We went to the Valentine’s Day event, the cheese cake and jelly are fantastic, and that only costs 18USD. Don’t forget to eat nachos as well!
