We drove up route 19 to see the solar eclipse. It was getting late when we rolled up on Shirley's. The parking lot was full of cars, and everyone was out looking at the eclipse, which was just starting. So we stopped in and got some great ice cream as a watched the full eclipse.Thanks to the owners for being accommodating!
Last night, after ordering and paying for our food, my husband, who is a volunteer fireman, received notice his dept was called out to assist at a fire in Mercer. I told the girl at the window we had to go, be back later for dinner and we immediately left for the call. After a little over 2 hours we returned and yes, they had saved our order, now cold.
