During a recent adventure, we stumbled upon the Carsonville Hotel, a delightful find that we discovered through Facebook. The allure of their seafood Bloody Mary special was too tempting to resist, and it certainly did not disappoint.As we perused the menu, the buffalo chicken nachos caught our eye, and what a fantastic choice they were! Each bite was a perfect harmony of flavors, leaving us thoroughly impressed and eager for more.But the true star of the show was the Thin Mint Cheesecake. It was nothing short of fabulous, a dessert that managed to be both refreshingly minty and decadently creamy all at once.The Carsonville Hotel has etched a special place in our hearts, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. For anyone who finds themselves in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by—you won't regret it!

This is a cool place on first impression. The layout and design are unique and welcoming. Unfortunately, they truly make no effort to welcome those who are not regulars. Our issue was the service and food. The place was understaffed, but the wait staff made no effort to mitigate it. We had a party of 8, made reservations, and were sat quickly upon arrival. However, we then waited 30 minutes for someone to come to our table to take any drink orders. After our drinks and appetizers came, it was another 30 minutes until we were checked on again. At this point, we had been there since 6 pm, and it was almost 730. We ended up just asking for our check at that point. Their prices are very high compared to similar restaurants and the quality was mediocre.

Place was not busy...food is unbelievable...way too many fries...burger was huge....But great place .would like to go on a Friday when they have live music.
It was an absolutely amazing establishment that had exceptional food, service, and atmosphere. I had the 24 oz T- bone, which was cooked to perfection. It was exactly as I remembered it from when my parents would take my brother and I there.
The service was really good and we went there to go try the fries because we were told about it they had a good selection of different yuengling beers there so we could try those. Yeah atmosphere was well as well It was one of the best experiences for customer services at a

We decided to make a 40 min drive to this place for a birthday dinner because someone recommended it. The place looks ran down which doesn’t matter because sometimes you get the best food in those places. No kids meals. No prices on menu unless you have cell service and can scan menu for prices. I asked for my burger medium it came out over cooked. Two ppl got steaks over cooked. Crab cakes were bland. The fries are better at a pizzeria. My burger didn’t come with any sides or fry’s so you have to order separate. And I’m not picky and never complain usually its my wife. But when a table of 9 ppl all said the same thing it’s bad. I will never return.Kid-friendliness: No kids meal. But they have kid drinks ?

The adjacent field serves as overflow for the sparce parking area near the hotel.The hotel is famous for heaping plates of French Fries and is well-known in the Harrisburg area even though it's quite a long ride into the "boonies".Parking: Parking is limited by the hotel. There is a field about 30 yards from the hotel.

Was greeted by the owner. Very nice person. The bartender, she was very slow. But, she was also a nice person. The food. Some of it was good. But the gravy came from a jar. And prices are very high for what you get? Overall though, it was a very good experience.
