Absolutely amazing food! Very unassuming from first glance driving by. My son and I had a great experience there, service was very friendly, food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. Real homemade dishes and fun and creative specials. We will be stopping there any time we are even remotely nearby.

Yesterday was my very first visit to Denny's Lennies, and what brought me here was their Veteran's Appreciation Event in honor of Veteran's Day. This event was sponsored by the MITER Foundation. I served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 6.5 years (2005-2012) and medically retired. This event offered a free select meal for Veterans plus a free meal for any Veteran's one guest! I found this absolutely awesome that they took care of a Veteran's guest in addition to the Vet! The event meal options were a choice between a Roast Beef or Hot Turkey dinner that included mash potatoes w/gravy, sweet corn, and bread stuffing. They also offered a free drink for each dinner. We personally chose the Roast Beef Dinner and the food was absolutely amazing and they definitely did not short any of the food items within the meal. The staff and the sponsors were extremely welcoming and very tentative to all that had come to their establishment. They made you feel beyond special and gave a very family type experience like you were one of their regular visitors. The atmosphere inside was very warming, relaxed, and positive. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area for not only their delicious home cooked style food but for their 5-Star customer care and service. This location is very Family Friendly and I now will make this establishment a frequent restaurant to visit and enjoy.

Exactly what I expected from a mom and pop road side diner wonderful atmosphere service was as expected order your drink get drink then they come back and get your food order within 20 minutes we had our food cost was 15-20$ per person depending on what you order and how much you get ? overall a memorable experience

Went there today. It seems you need to be a regular to get good service here. The restaurant was pretty empty at the time one table occupied and one gentleman at the counter. Placed our orders and it took well over 30 minutes to get a burger & a panini. When ordering the burger, asked for the Mayo on the side. The burger came slathered in Mayo and extremely overcooked. Didn’t want to send it back and wait another 30 minutes. When I paid the check, the waitress practically threw my credit card and receipt down on the table. Never again.
One of the best diners I have ever eaten at. As a Halifaxian, it is a staple of our town, not only historically, but also in how popular it is. Excellent food, great service and a charming, clean, American diner feel. You won't regret it, and it's basically confirmed that you'll be back for more.

I live in Philadelphia, PA and while traveling north we make it a stop even though it's miles off our route. Best clam chowder ever. Only problem is it isn't always available. Not a disappointment yet and don't expect one, try dropping in I did.

Perfectly tasty Pennsylvania Dutch fare and traditional diner favorites. Decent prices, but portions could be 30% bigger. Loved the coleslaw. Entire check was only $53 for three entrees and beverages.
Felt like I was dining at a restaurant featured on The Golden Girls, though. Definitely an older folks place.

We sat down and ordered our beverages. The server brought them in two minutes and immediatly asked to take our orders while we were not done yet with the menus. We felt rushed. We each ordered fries. My fiance's were cold. I sent them back asking for hot fresh out of the frier fries. She returned in less than 2 minutes. The replacements were cold also. Her main course didn't seem fresh either. My fiance didn't eat her fries. When the server came with the bill I told her the replacements were just as cold and to remove them from the bill. She said she saw them come out of the frier. I worked in the resteraunt business myself years ago. I know fresh fries from sitting in a basket for 10 minutes fries. I didn't believe her a bit. Whatever happened to "Customer Is Always Right"?
