Ordered chicken and waffles to go. It came with mashed potatoes, the potatoes were one huge lump and stiffer than glue. The gravy on the meal had ZERO flavor. Didn't taste like anything, zero flavor. Reminded me of nursing home food, actually this was probably worse. Ordered a pickled egg on the side. Egg was red but must have been soaked in water and not vinegar. I threw the entire meal in the trash. It was absolutely the worst food I have ever tried. The Pepsi was on point. If I could give zero stars I would. Never again.

The good ole fashioned diner's like this need to be around till the end of time.? My wife and I just moved back from Florida last week, born and raised in Lancaster County. We went here on Sunday and it was wonderful!! Great people, wonderful staff, our waitress was awesome and fun!! The food was GREAT, tasty and wonderful portions!! We love diner's and Hallamshire is now already a favorite we will patronize many more times to come!!
