I love it for fun spend time in this store looking everything they have the animals the aquarium is good for the kids they can enjoy it plus you always buy something they got good stuff.
Great staff! My son lost his wallet in the store loaded with his Christmas money! The staff was so helpful in helping us get it back! ❤️
There is very very minimal firearms. No ammunition. Complete waste of time. Used to be great, but no more. Other firearms stores at least have pistols, revolvers and long guns.
Come for the gear, leave with depression. Because Karens complained online, we're back to having masks pushed on us. The prices were never great to begin with, but at least the store environment was impressive and welcoming. Now it's just another place for scared people to spend too much money.
I have been a Cabela's customer for years both online and in person. I was saddened by the new company policy of no firearms sales to out of state residents specifically those of us who are residents of the Democratic Peoples Republic of NJ however their firearms were never a bargain so it's no big loss. Clothing is top notch. Carhartt, 5-11, they have everything. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The store itself is worth the visit with the displays and the pond. PLEASE NOTE: If you're going to be a mask-hole, don't shop here. It's refreshing to see adults letting you be adults. It is my decision to shop free of theatrical face coverings that only protect your feelings and I don't apologize...I don't care about your feelings. That being said, good job to Cabela's and I look forward to future transactions.
very disappointed in the store. We traveled 2 hours only to stay 15 min. I made a complaint about people not wearing a mask and was told I could order online! I happened to love walking around the store and looking at different things. To be told I can order on line I don't think so. This is your store! No mask no entry. You are not only putting your customers in danger also your employees. How sad!
Disappointed beyond words in the lack of reinforcement of PA mask mandate to stop the spread of COVID-19. Significant number of customers of all ages not wearing masks. When I asked a cashier if she was aware of the number of customers in her department not wearing masks she became confrontational and told me I was welcome to ask the customers why they are not wearing masks. I left the store and will not return. An establishment that does not support the health and welfare of their employees and ALL customers will not get my business. I will go out of my way to not make purchases at Cabela's ever again. Those customers not wearing masks put Cabela employees AND their customers at risk. Cabela leadership should be ashamed of their lack of social responsibility over profits. I will go out of my way to discourage friends and family from shopping there every chance I get. As for those that do not wear masks, I feel they should also refuse healthcare and use of limited healthcare resources when they test positive for COVID.
Hello, Cabela's is a great place to shop and to bring your family to look at all the cool animals and fish. As far as shoppers leaving negative feedback over a small dent on their fender. It was most likely left there by a shopper that failed to return it to cart return. Why should the store be held liable for something like that. It only costs a few dollars a month to add collision to your car insurance. It covers mishaps like a cart blowing into your fender. Every time I go there, they are helpful and friendly.
As others have mentioned, they do not enforce the wearing of masks. However, unlike the other reviewers, this a great positive to me and my family who choose to live our lives like normal people with working immune systems. We made a day trip out of it and our kids enjoyed getting our of of the house for a day.

About 5% of the people were walking around without a mask----I felt so bad for the employees. It puts them in a dangerous and uncomfortable position. Hire some badasses to monitor the front door and walk around for violators. I left and ordered my North Face coat online.....not worth it. Of all the retail stores that SHOULD be able to enforce the state mandate, I would have thought the one that sells knives and guns could have been creative! Not going back.
Don't waste your time! The Hamburg PA Cabelas is terrible. I was told that there would be adequate supply at opening and drove 40 minutes each way. I arrived before the store opened and few people that were ahead of me purchased the entire inventory. Everything was sold out by 9:07. Cabela's does not limit supplies and there website is even worse. A group of old salesmen just stood by and called everyone vultures. Vultures? You can't even buy anything. Yes, supply is limited but come on - do you really need to add salt to an open wound?
