Kanlaya Thai Kitchen is an authentic Thai restaurant that consistently delivers delicious and generous portions of noodles, Thai fried rice, and curries. The food is excellent whether dining in or ordering takeout, and the service is great. Customers especially recommend the Tom Kha soup, the spice level of 1-3 on the dishes, and the Lemon Chicken to die for. The pineapple fried rice with shrimp is very good, and the crab ragoons and veggie spring rolls are tasty. The restaurant offers a calm atmosphere and reasonable prices, with a nice selection of vegan options. Many consider it the best Asian food in the Pittsburgh area, with delicious pad Thai and fresh spring rolls.
