All round great place to unwind or gather with friends with best local brewed craft beer the beer slingers ( that’s what I call them)are top notch and very knowledgeable they can explain the texture,aroma and the hi and low tones of each bear before you ask for a sample if you’re not sure.

My wife and I have been out to the Dolphin & Anchor close to a dozen times since we stopped in on a whim. This place is awesome and the drinks are always a treat. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a local spot to hang out and have a good drink!

One of my favorite places to go in hanover just because of the awesome crew that works there. Also they don't really have a beer i hate. This place is constantly being creative and coming up with fun activities. No way you can hate this place!

Large selection of beer!! Nice bar and great staff! The Count Stoutula on nitro is my all time favorite Aldus beer. The Going Deustch and Pretzel Wheat are great beers too.

First time here and found the drink selection pretty nice. If you can't find something you like you're too snooty and shouldn't leave your house. Good atmosphere and great service. Really friendly staff and knowledgeable of the drinks. I found it more laid back and quiet than other brew houses, which I enjoyed. A nice place to end the nice after a dinner at Oak that's right down the street.

We absolutely loved the beer here! My wife and I each tried a couple and enjoyed them all. The staff seemed genuinely pleased to give us recommendations and happy to have us there. The food was from the hotel next door and was pretty good, but just wasn't quite as top notch as Aldus. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad but while I'll go back for the beer, I'm just not raving about the food.

We had the garlic buffalo wings which were okay, but the flavor was mild. The tots we ordered skimped on all the toppings (supposed to have bacon, cheddar and sour cream but barely had a scattering. A definite skip) and the tuna wontons were the high point as the flavor was great and the tuna was delicious.

The bar is super cool and the service is excellent! I am not a huge beer fan, but there's a couple I like. I typically get the cocktails. They have the basics. Thursday night Music trivia is fun, good competition. They do not serve food but you can order from the hotel next door.

Great place to enjoy a pint or two. Really beautiful space inside with various seating - if you feel like drinking a great beer while playing games, reading a book, watching a game, or setting up a video game, Dolphin & Anchor is the spot.The Hotel Hanover provides the food for Aldus. The food is top tier pub food. Seriously.Cherry on top as the staff were all super kind and proud of the new space too.Try this place out. You won’t regret it…

Nice new location for Aldus. Had a full pour of the Orange Crushcicle and Composite Proof IPA, which are excellent beers. Nice taplist and excellent decor on the inside, which really feels like a step up for the area.Food was provided by Hotel Hanover next door, and they have convenient QR code system for ordering food to your table. Got the Cheesesteak and the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich, and fries. It's a must-do if you're in the area, and I'm looking forward to returning here in the future!
