Great place with both outdoor and indoor seating. They have crabs, seafood, and broasted chicken. There are a good assortment of sides. The broasted chicken was awesome, and my wife really liked the crabs. It's a casual place with a nice casual atmosphere. It can be loud. We spent about $60 for the two of us, including the tip. That's comparable to what we spend at Mission or Red Robin and less than we typocally spend at Long Horn. Hanover is about an hour and a half from where we live. Today we were in the area for other reasons and decided to give Big Mike's a try. We will definitely come back, just to eat here, even if we don't have any other reason to go to Hanover.

I really enjoyed this place. All the food we had was great, even the kid's meal grilled cheese was amazing. We loved the loaded hush puppies, and our dozen large crabs were very tasty and easy to crack/peel. The only minus I gave was that we didn't realize it was BYOB - so I took off one star for that and the ambience (was a bit hot inside, but I think you almost have to expect that for a crab shack of any type). Anyhow, food and service was phenomenal (we are from Baltimore and Big Mike's rivals many crab places there) and we will definitely go back again. But this time, we'll be bringing our own beer...

Big Mikes Crab house is an incredible place to enjoy a nice meal with your family. The owners are great people. Had the privilege to really get to know Josh. He is the most down to earth human being I’ve ever met. So kind, caring and passionate about what he does. He works his tail off as does his wife and sister to make this all happen. Side note, not many seafood places have top notch wings or even sell wings. As a wing connoisseur, that was amazing to see. The only problem with big mikes , is I’m 50 minutes away and can’t get there as often.

We were camping at Codorus State Park and came out in the rain for some seafood. I had the cream of crab soup, which was just okay. My brother had crabby Mac. It was good, but rich. We each had a fried fish platter with two sides. We thought the food was good and hit the spot. Service was friendly. Parking was tight but lots of spaces at 4 pm on Wed.

I got the catfish platter and was very tasty but super small and not worth the money. Was a really small piece of fish and only got a hand full of potatoe wedges. 18 bucks for this all is getting robbed
