I have been going to the Famous for decades. Always ordered the Hot Dog w/ everything. I recently stopped in abd git my usual 2 dogs with everything and a Strawberry shake. I hatecto say this but the Hot Dogs were horrible. They were dry with a weird texture. I've spoken to several other frequent loyal customers and they said the same thing. I'm not sure if you changed your distributor, but I don't think I can go back. maybe for a cheeseburger with everything....
Restaurants come and go, Famous is forever!.
Same menu; same great taste since I was a kid going there with my Dad.
If you're new to Hanover or in the area I recommend this Classic to you!.

everyone is friendly and welcoming. The waiters don't harass you.. you order and get your food within about 10-15 minutes and they leave you to it!.

Super famous place thats been around for 101 years!!!!! My son & I came in late one night recently with about an hour till closing. Staff starting to sweep the floor but very friendly and ready for us. Classic old diner feel & decor with “back in the day” pics and menu on the wall ($0.30 for a tall 32oz beer?!?).
