Best hot dogs in town! Way better than the hot dog cart guy.
Their chili has always been my favorite. Easily the best hot dog chili I've ever had. It's not that sweet chili crap, or bbq flavored in any way.
My fiancé likes the veggie soup a lot!
Their is sometimes a wait, but the food makes up for it.

Ordered cheeseburger and it was barely room temperature like the beef patty had been hours before, so waitress brought out another one and not much better ,then Ordered a hotdogs it was ok but honestly wasn't impressed, this was my first time there definitely won't be back, I have to agree with all the other poor reviews.

I have been going to the Famous for decades. Always ordered the Hot Dog w/ everything. I recently stopped in abd git my usual 2 dogs with everything and a Strawberry shake. I hatecto say this but the Hot Dogs were horrible. They were dry with a weird texture. I've spoken to several other frequent loyal customers and they said the same thing. I'm not sure if you changed your distributor, but I don't think I can go back. maybe for a cheeseburger with everything. I hope you check into this.

We dined at this establishment on March 25, 2025, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had.
From the moment we arrived, the service was incredibly disappointing. There were five waitresses sitting at the counter, seemingly more interested in their phones than attending to customers.
After our order was taken, our food was delivered incorrectly. The rolls were stale, the gravy had an unappetizing consistency resembling brown wallpaper paste, and the hot dogs were served cold. To top it off, we received only one glass of water with our meal, and we never saw our waitress again after that.
At one point, our waitress spilled gravy next to our table, looked down, and simply walked away, leaving the mess on the floor.
Overall, this was hands down one of the worst meals I've ever experienced. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Used to love this place, even drove from York to have a couple dogs. No more, Half stale rolls, chunky onions instead of finely grated, tasteless dogs. Come on guys get your act together, you can do better!

The food was so good that my G over here ordered a hotdog instead of a salad. I also crapped my self walking out that it was so good, and it was not the canning factory!
Long time customer and have noticed the burgers are much smaller. I received a few fries on the plate with a teaspoon of chili on top. Paid over $25 for two meals and left hungry. I remember what this place used to be like and it has drastically gone downhill. It’s unfortunate.

Burger was only half as long as the roll and very dry. Been going there for almost 50 years and lately the food has been declining in portion size and quality.
Hotdogs are smaller but you still get full
Love the food! Quick meal. Great staff!
