FatBat is one my favorite places in Hanover. Great beer selection along with Seltzer cocktails.

Good craft beer in a cool space. I got the Bloodbath IPA on Nitro, a creamy beer with blood orange notes. My partner had the Beach Trick Sour, that tasted of melon and cucumber. Friendly staff and nice variety of beer styles are on offer here.

First time visit, the owners were very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. We really enjoyed trying a little bit of everything, and the snack boxes were good and shareable for two people. The beer list is varied and there are plenty of different styles for all tastes. They also have drinks for non beer lovers, which my mom enjoyed. Would recommend!

I love the cozy atmosphere here. There are couches, chairs, tables and an electric fireplace in the lower level. The main level has a large bar with plenty of seating. The owners are wonder. Since I'm not a beer drinker, they suggested I try one of their handcrafted seltzer drinks. I had a Fat Hat and it was delicious! We look forward to visiting again.

This is the best brewery experience in Hanover. The staff is awesome, the beer is good, and the atmosphere is uniquely classy and cozy. It is obvious that the owners take a lot of pride in their creation and try to make the entire experience enjoyable. The reason we keep coming back is because of the lime flavored hard seltzer, but also the atmosphere. The hard seltzer isn't as good as Liquid Hero's hard seltzer, and they only have 1 base flavor, but Fat Bat is much closer to home. I don't drink much beer anymore but enjoy the brewery experience, and also sampling some new brews, so Fat Bat works well for me. They have a new Drafty Downpours light lager that is amazing and hope that it becomes a regular. I'm hoping that they come out with different seltzers, or even an unflavored one where the customer can choose a flavor to be added, such as tossing in some pineapple and jalapeno or an orange slice, or those syrups. For those that like to try different things, Fat Bat does some creative mixers that are seltzer based or coffee stout based. They don't have food but that is OK by me, they do get awesome food trucks on occasion. They do some fun events like live music, flight night, book club, theme days, special occasion drink mixers, etc. which is awesome. They also don't allow people under 21 at the bar side, but they have an area for all ages, which is nice. The building is an old horseshoer or farrier shop (I forget what they called horse repair shops back in the day), and the original brick interior still has writings on the wall from those days.

Absolutely adore this place. The beer selection is diverse and we get a kick out of the clever names. I like that there’s options for non beer drinkers as well. The live music is special and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I especially appreciate how clean and lovely the ladies room was. This is so rare around here. We really enjoy hanging out here. Try the Czech pilsner. (I’m Czech and give it 5 star approval)!

One of the newer breweries in Hanover and a welcome addition. Great variety of beer on tap. They don't have food on site but partner with local places for easy ordering and delivery. They also have food truck right outside regularly.

Great brewery, even greater staff. They clearly have a passion for what they do, and their work is the proof. Please come find them!

Love supporting a female owned, family run business. Lots of attention to detail was put into the ambiance and the beers (including the artwork which the brewer does for each beer). Great staff and local spot. Oh and they have seltzer drinks (made in house) for a gluten free option!
