Food and staff are excellent. No MSG. And they can do Gluten Free! We adore the owner, Kathy. We have been going there for > 20 years and she saw my kids grow up. Everyone we take there loves it & becomes new patrons. Best food around.
Food is great!!! We really enjoyed the fresh veggies in the dishes. Nice large portions too.

It was awesome... stopped in for a buffet, but pleasantly surprised when our food arrived.. our waitress was sweet, the food was great. What more to say?

I can't say enough about this place. Mrs. Kathy is always so nice when we go in and knows us by name and we're probably only there once a month. The food is always amazing and they even have gluten free options which can be difficult to find. Definitely a staple in this household.
We love Forbidden City — it’s the best-kept restaurant secret of Hanover! Their food is delicious and incredibly fresh. We eat there 2-3 times a month and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is comfortable. If you want a delicious meal, please give them a try!
I absolutely LOVE this place. Only Chinese restaurant I will eat at! The owner, Kathy is a pleasure. She knows most of her customers by name and keeps up with what is going on in their lives. Wonderful ace and wonderful people. Highly recommended!
It wasn't that the food on the buffet didnt taste good, just wasn't great. Small selection and had to wait several times for a few items, very small amounts of food placed on buffet at a time
