Always screwing up orders. First time was a big order could see that happened but my second time was just 3 people and not much food. Second time being there was today and got it to go. Finally got to my destination and my burger is missing. Can’t call the place because all you get is an automated answer machine. So you don’t get to talk to anyone about the problem.

At best a mediocre burger. Over salted dry burger. Fried pickles were cold with soggy coating. Seem the chef needs to do some remedial training for the line cooks. Quality is definitely lacking.

We were only people left in restaurant saw some come and go. When we got our food it was cold, so much for made to order. The burger was only ok, the garage fries were not flavorful, and the soda was well… tasted like a farm smells, it was disgusting!! We will never go back and couldn’t wait to leave!

Everything was good for us! No complaints!

Good food but I don’t carry cash on me and left a tip on the machine when paying expecting it to go to the waitress and come to find out the tip when checking out initially doesn’t go to the waitress. How are the waitresses supposed to get tipped by someone that is paying with a card and doesn’t have cash on them? Something should change with this process in allowing tips to go to the waitress when paying with a card. Doesn’t seem fair?!?

This is the second time I’ve gotten a low carb hubcap and the amount of sauce they douse the bowl in, makes it uneatable. There was hardly any lettuce. The even more frustrating part was I specifically request to “go easy” on the sauce and yet they drenched it. You are paying $15 (got double meat) for a bowl that is costing them $4 to make - and they can’t get it right. And when you try to call, no one answers. I will not be going back and to be honest the last time I ordered from them at Franklin (which I love!) - they didn’t give me double meat (but I let it go, they are busy, mistakes happen) but they need to tighten up their staff. Pay attention, care about the quality. When something is costing that much, it should come out right. And the fact it’s been the past 3x with issues, tells me they are lacking oversight.

The food was awesome and a cool little restaurant in town but it took awhile to get my food. I will eat there again.

While the food may be good it's pretty pricy for what it is. On top of that wait is pretty long in terms of a wait (with hardly any guests).

The worse part of this is that the restaurant has spent all of its efforts on the outward experience, which at the end of the day is a burger joint. However they left little to no desire to be there to actually eat the food that was thoughtfully cooked, but not presented. I understand they are trying to nail down the retro atmosphere but the eating experience has to be top tier, and it's not. The food is presented in paper, and ultra thin boxes. Both of these idea compete with the lack of any sort of plate, likely employed to reduce costs or add to the 'atmosphere'. Basically the food is sat down in front of you, and you cannot out it on the table as it's not exactly... Clean.

That being said there's other small bits of improvement that need to be made. The dip cups are not sufficient for the size of their sides, adding to the poor eating experience. In addition to this, there's always someone camping their downstairs only sound system.

It's a mixed bag, not served in a bag but a huge black, boring tray with food that's held back by its 'cost cutting' service and presentation.

Downtown Hanover deserves better.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile but I’ve heard a lot of bad things about them. I decided to give them a try. I got the mushroom and Swiss burger with extra topping added to it for a charge. The burger was cold and the meat was bland. The bun is just a cheap Martin’s bun from the grocery store. They did not give me my extra toppings that I paid for. The house sauce that I ordered on the side to try tastes like bitter watered down Big Mac sauce. My wife’s burger was the same way. We got an order of fried pickles that were just soggy with barely any breading on them. I paid $35 for two burgers with a couple extra topping that I didn’t get and an order of fried pickles that cost $6 and was a very very small side. They were not busy at all even on a Friday night. In conclusion the place is a rip off and the food is bland and nasty.

So I ordered online, thay process was quick and easy. I got a text notification that my order was ready as I was walking into the store to pick it up. I got my bags to the car and qas driving to my sister's house less than half a mile away from the store. In the car I grabbed a fry as everyone does to munch on while I drove. It was stone cold. And not cold like it was hot and cooled down. Like cold like it was yesterday's fry. When I got to my sister's house we opened up the two fries and dumped them out and they were all cold to the touch. We ended up throwing them in the air fryer to warm them up so we could try them. The whole mixed types of fries is weird, not really enjoyable cause doubtfully you'll like alevery kind in there so you find yourself digging for what you want. I'll never get the grade fries again, I did like the tater tots, not sure if they're available separate. We then dug into the four double burgers. We got them just normal with the house sauce. So the burgers tasted good, the tomatoes were paper thin though. The buns were the most disappointing part. They were just Martin's potato rolls that you can get at Walmart. Nothing special about them, but the worse part was they were just too small for the burger. They didn't even open the buns all the way so they were still attached on one side like they come and the burger was spilling off of it. Ridiculously messy. Again, the burger patty was tasty, the sauce was good, the tomatoes could have been sliced thicker. I would have liked a more substantial bun for such a burger. It was reminiscent of a back yard grill party burger. So in all, not blown away. Would I eat there again? If it was a choice I wouldn't turn it down but I wouldn't crave it. For the price I definitely wouldn't be a regular. Really just gets a "meh" from me.

Second time eating here and the food was pretty good. Fries were nicely seasoned and the onion rings were spot on. A few issues. Ordering and having to use an app screen to order and giving out my phone number for them to alert for order ready when they already bring it to the table. Seems pointless on having to give phone number. Having lunch there on the 22nd and we were the only 2 eating. I placed my order as did my friend. Both orders came out at the same time and were the same order. My burger was one with wheels (two grilled cheese with the burger and fixings between) and it came out as a regular classic. I returned it for it to come back with an attempt to make it right. Burger was cold and the "fix" was a bunch and cheese placed on top and bottom and not actually a grilled cheese. Tasted fine though would have been better hot. A bit pricy (extras on burger were price separate)and would only go if going alone. Staff was friendly and a very clean restaurant. Plenty of seating and sitting upstairs is nice being able to watch over the street for entertainment.

Parking: Parking is .25 for 15 minutes in a parking lot directly across from restaurant or along the street.

Of the 2 fast casual burger spots in the area(greers and 5 guys) i prefer greers by a fair margin. The people on here complaining about price should just go to mcdonalds.

Best smashburger I've probably ever had so far. Very delicious! Food is excellent!! A little expensive, but you get what you pay for here! Better than 5 guy's hands down!
