The day is 8/25/2025, entered the restaurant around 6:45pm. We were seated right away as soon as we came in. The table we were sat at still had the check from the previous guests on the table with tip money in the book. It took over 10 minutes for us to be greeted and another 6 minutes for drinks to be served. Our server Taylor was nice but the service still lacked. Our food took another 30 minutes to come out, the restaurant was less than half full. The baked potato was cold, the steak was ordered medium but came out almost well done and was over seasoned. The only good thing was the mac and cheese. At a table next to us a different server was sitting down with what I assume to be a friend or loved one for a majority of our 60 minute visit, seemed to me like she could have been helping her fellow servers. I don't think I'd be coming back to this specific location again.

The highlight was the bartender's excellent Old Fashioned!
Everything thing else was ok.

I think it was a new waiter, things progressed slowly, usually faster service. Good food!

Serving 5 day old noodles for takeout is their “food standard” -Manager Bill
Ordered takeout on a Sunday and the serve by stickers said Thursday… either it was 3 days past serve date or they think it’s fine to let noodles sit that long

I debated a long time about making this review, but ultimately decided it was for the best. My girlfriend and I went here to eat last night, right off the bat the service was amazing, our waitress and her trainee were beyond helpful and knowledgeable. However once the food came everything was wrong, my girlfriend's steak was cooked improperly, my french fries tasted freezer burnt, and on top of it all my burger was completely raw, I'm talking cold in the middle raw. So while the service was on top of their game, they unfortunately had to make up for the kitchens significant lack of care and skill. I only hope they improve, because I will not be back for quite some time.

This was my first time at Longhorn, and probably my last. Although the food was good, the management was terrible (bald guy with glasses at host stand). We put our name on the wait list as a party of two and was told it’d be 40 minutes. After 45 minutes we asked him where we were on the wait list. He stated smartly that it had “actually been 42 minutes not 45” and that we still need to wait for three more parties to get sat. 15 minutes later he finally sits us at a high top near the bar. A party not even on the waitlist sits at the table beside and gets served as we did. We asked our server why they didn’t have to wait an hour for the same table we had to wait for and the server explains that the group of tables we were sitting at near the bar were “first come first serve” and nobody has to wait for these tables. I was mad that the bald guy at the host stand made us wait for these tables and that someone who just walked in could sit at so I went and explained my frustration to him. He then yelled across the restaurant from the host stand to a server and said “I’m sitting a table there.. well you already took their order so whatever.” The table beside us was confused as were we. Did not seem organized what so ever. Then a customer waiting for a table went up to the table that sat themselves and started an argument. The table that sat themselves did nothing wrong as the server explained it was first come first serve as I believe those tables usually are, but it seems the bald guy at the host stand failed to communicate that he was sitting tables there and the whole thing was a mess. So many problems that could’ve been avoided but it seemed like the dude at the host stand was either new at his job or didn’t know how to manage a busy restaurant.

This place wasn’t bad but I expected a little better service. The steak was pretty ok. The Texas onion was on point. The shrimp was average. The salads were nothing to write home about. The server was less than desirable. No such thing as refills or prebussing tables. It was average at best. Prices are high compared to similar places. If I didn’t have a gift certificate I wouldn’t have chosen this place.

5:30 pm New Year's Eve out of baked potatoes, AND sweet potatoes! After ordering drinks and our food, they come back to tell us they didn't have the drinks we ordered. Steak was under cooked, never asked if it cooked properly.

Great service, amazing chicken sandwich for lunch
I tried this specific longhorn years ago and it was perhaps the worst I've ever eaten at. One of my party this time insisted on eating here tonight. I wish i could day it had gotten better in the intervening years. Once again, the pepper seasoning was so overwhelming that the steak was inedible. Since it was a filet, I expected better but literally the only thing you could taste after two bites was heat. Two of us got the same and both ended up being thrown with about half it more left on the plate. I begged for drinks to end my suffering but the people at the next table had other plans: apparently they knew the waitress and waylaid her talking for a solid five minutes while i was trying to stop the burn. Ultimately the only thing that helped was literally ordering ice cream. I had to go directly from here to a pharmacy to get medicine for my stomach it was so bad. I mentioned the overwhelming heat to the waitress and she said "oh i know, that's why whenever i eat here i always order light seasoning." What the actual *bleep*? If you know this, either 1.) warm your customers or 2.) FIX THE PROBLEM! And yes, before the management at this specific longhorn tries to say is a me-problem, I've been to many longhorns: this is the only one that has this problem. In my time here this evening, I saw so much food getting returned or thrown away it was ridiculous. When the only good things were literally the baked potato and the coke, you've got issues. In short: it's been at least five years since I've done at this location. Five years more will be too soon.

We had Maddy R as our server and she was amazing. She was personalable, extremely friendly, and attentive. If we could give her a rating it would be a 10 plus. She made our experience excellent!!!

Ordered the Outlaw ribeye rare. They bring out an overcooked extremely small and thin steak. This thing was half the size of the petite steak my wife ordered. I told the guy to take it back, I was not accepting it. Manager brings it back to the table and begins to tell me how the steak was big, and perfect. Big mistake on his part. This man was extremely arrogant and rude.
After about two minutes of listening to his remarks, I told him to keep the steak, and his restaurant as well. Paid our bill and left.
My wife and I go to eat here twice a month for lunch, and twice a month for dinner.
Not anymore.

This is our go-to restaurant when we want consistently good steaks. In all the years we've been going, only one 'off' meal -years ago!

Food was excellent. Service was a bit slow, but I think that was situational. The only real negative was that I'm not a fan of the restaurant music, but it fits the theme so that would just be a personal nitpick.
