Wow!!! Just amazing! We came here for brunch on a sunday and was blown away by the food and the very friendly staff. I got the Belgium waffles and as an appetizer the grilled cheese with the soup. Definitely will be back!

First time here. The dining area is a work in progress. The bar area is wonderful, the food was fantastic and so was the service. We will return.

We went to their New Years Eve event. Not their fault but a truck smashed through their dinning dance area a few days before. They did a good job making best of the room. $50 per person.Needed a few more veggie / non beef appetizers options? Crab cake, fish, salmon, real shrimp, ham?DJ was great but way to loud!!!! Couldn't have a conversation! It's not 1978 disco. I had fun except for those negatives. Make older people happy we have the money!

Probably the highest-end food in Hanover. Their chef makes great and diverse entrees. We love the modern decor and the fact that it’s usually not loud or crowded.

I was in tonight for the first time for dinner and ordered the beef bourguignon. I was a little disappointed though because the menu didn't mention anything about brussel sprouts being in the dish; otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it as I don't like them. And I wish there would've been more than 3 small pieces of carrots and a couple pieces of meat. Overall, the flavor was good but the majority of the food on my plate was brussel sprouts (which wasn't even on description as stated above)?...not worth $29.95 in my opinion. When the waitress asked how everything was I said fine because I didn’t want to have to wait any longer for my meal to be corrected as it was already getting late.

Went in on Oct 11, 2023, thought we would give it another try. Chef had family emergency, that's okay. Limited menu, that's okay too. Ordered a burger.. that was not ok. The burger appeared to be a frozen type which came out cold am not cooked. The bartender confirmed to the owner, who was two barstools away, that is was not cooked and cold. Owner just sat there, no offer to make it right. 3 strikes... out!

We went there for our Anniversary n had the place to ourselves, although we were there at 430 Sat. Night. The food was excellent n hot (I hate warm food) The menu is limited but you can find something for your pallet. All in all was very good n would go back again.

My family and I went for Mother's Day Brunch. We had the very last of the buffet with eggs and sausage. We were not allowed to order off the menu and our bill outrageous. Our drinks took forever. Honestly...It was supposed to be a joyous occasion and it was very very disappointing.

I have been to McAllister’s on York many times since it’s opening in Hanover a few years ago and I have never been disappointed and I have always been delighted! The food is exceptional; the service is superior to any restaurant in the area; and the atmosphere is creative and enjoyable! Owners, Robert and Andrew have paid exquisite attention to detail and their very talented and personable chef, Tarik, is a gift to our town! I have had dinner, brunch and several special wine and dinner meals here and highly recommend this restaurant!

Had a great time. Nice to have a up scale restaurant option for dates and nights out. The food and drink are delicious and interestesing. The staff can be a bit slow for some of the prices and subsequent tips involved. I have been several times and look forward to going again.

we made a reservation on the 5th for mother’s day, and we were told we didn’t have a reservation. we talked to one of the owners and he was trying to say that we didn’t understand their process, and we HAD to. he said “ma’am please stop getting upset, it’s mother’s day. calm yourself down!” the audacity of him to say that is insane, and it is very offensive. he kept arguing back and cutting us off. we said how their customer service was awful, and he said “our customer service is AWESOME”. we got here at 12:00 and our server was the bartender, which took our order 15 minutes after we arrived. we had to order our drinks separate, because he didn’t ask. an hour and a half into opening, they ran out of chicken and waffles. one person in our party has a nut allergy, and we asked what she could have. the server told us to not get the nutella crepes, but we realized he didn’t say she couldn’t have the pancakes with almond on them. food was insanely salty and they charged us a credit card fee. do not recommend coming here.Kid-friendliness: the mothers day menu was okay, but no separate menu for kids.

Nicest restaurant in the area by far. They have worked out the bugs they had when they first opened.

Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Only critique is the prices seemed pretty high for the portions we got. Spent about 50 bucks with the tip for an appetizer and an entree and I sorta left hungry. I’ll be back. Just not as often as I would if the portions were more fitting for the price you pay.

Went for Easter brunch with a party of 10. Overpriced and unimpressive. Had to wait about 20 minutes for pancakes as they had run out. I shouldn’t have even bothered as the pancakes that I had were raw on the inside. They also ran out of yogurt parfaits. Eventually an employee came with yogurt and fresh fruit. They scooped the yogurt out of it’s container into a serving bowl and just left it sitting on the bar. About 10 minutes later a man comes and starts making parfaits in glasses. Mind you he wasn’t wearing food service gloves. They opened one of the windows which didn’t have a screen. I was waiting for a flock of pigeons and crows to descend inside and start eating the food. I guess they knew better then us unsuspecting humans as they probably knew that roadkill would taste better.
