One of the best homemade Italian meals to be had in Nepa…the Pastiera was an unbelievably delicious treat!

This is the best Italian Restaurant in Luzerne County. Everything is home made. The Veal was excellent and tender. The bread is baked fresh. My fiance ordered penne vodka with chicken which she absolutely loved. We sat in the booth which is where we wanted and the service was incredible and polite. We absolutely loved the food and we will be recommending to friends who visit the area from out of state.

Stopped in the day after Christmas with an out of town friend. My friend wanted to have lunch at a local owned restaurant. It was my first time at this establishment. I ordered their sausage soup with a side salad. My friend ordered a hamburger with fries. The waitress came out to tell me the soup had changed and because I did not like the new soup I asked if it was possible to order a BLT. I am sure I said on toast. She responded yes. I tried to cancel my side salad but she responded that the salad was already made. The salad was comprised of lettuce and several cherry tomatoes. When the BLT came it was served on a rather stale large roll not toasted with minimal mayo, one thin half slice of tomato , bacon that was old, burnt and turned into bacon bits when I tried to eat it. When I inquired I was told that they do not offer bread on any sandwich. Rather making a fuss in front of my out of town guest who was picking up the check I tore most of the bread apart and ate a minimal amount. When the bill came the BLT was $17.00 ….Salad was included as an up charge from fries. Outrageous !!! Now for my friends hamburger which she ordered medium. This again was served on a cold old large roll. The burger was cooked on the outer ends but more like raw towards the middle and again accompanied with a thin sick looking half slice of tomato. The whole experience was unacceptable and left a bad impression on our local restaurants. I live locally but I was never return.

The owner came out and checked on us then when we got a flat in the parking lot. He came out, put our spare on himself and called around to find a tire shop to get us a tire. Not only was the food great but when they say family, they mean it. I can't imagine finding service like that anywhere else.

The food seemed " stale" as did the entire experience there. Too expensive for the quality, and quantity.

Did you know they were still open? I didn't and I'm so happy that I found out they still are. Food is fantastic and the service is top notch. The owner is so personable and such a nice guy. My server Amy was fantastic and so wonderful to us. Food was 10/10 would recommend. I love me some mozzarella sticks they we out-of this world and the calamari was to DIE for! I could die happy with that chicken parm being my last meal. Tell your friends they are open but only on the weekend! Yall get down there

Overall pretty average experience. Nothing special, food was ok. The soups and salads they give you before your meal are horrible though.
