Perkins American Food Co.

When my husband and I think of Perkins, we think of family. Everyone there has been great! From welcoming you as soon as you come in the door, to saying see ya next time when you leave. They are very polite and respectful.

Our meals have been good but there is always room for improvement. The food can be a little bland at times. There was a time our food came out cold, bacon was not crispy and my toast was burnt but our waitress, Kaylee, took care of it right away. She spoke with her manager Wade and he made everything right. Kaylee is very attentive, well mannered and a great server.

All the managers are awesome! We have gone to the Gettysburg restaurant but the service there does not match up to the service we get here at the Hanover restaurant.

This is our home away from home. We could not ask for a better environment. My wife and I have been going to Perkins in Hanover for over 4 years now. The managers Bernard, Wade, Robbie and Brittany have been wonderful over the years. They are always very polite, helpful and makes sure we get the best service. Kaylee, our waitress is a great assest to your company. She has are meals memorized, we don't even need menus. Our food has been good. If there is an issue, it is corrected right away. She makes us feel like we are part of the Perkins family. Everyone has been great! We definitely recommend Perkins to our friends and family.

The service was excellent. We had Angie F as our server, and she was delightful to work with. The food was prompt and delicious, as it has been for each of my visits here. I definitely recommend Perkins and Angie.

The food was ok, diner food. It is presented well. Service is excellent. Food is good. It's a diner, has dinner food & diner atmosphere. All in all it was a nice place and we will go back.

Great staff, fantastic food and amazing desserts. The restaurant was family oriented and I loved our server, Jen. She was friendly and quick. A great experience.

We spent more money on 2 meals for 55 older and it was a very small portion omelet had no taste whatsoever and ham and mushrooms were burnt!

I ordered the steak and peppers. They were excellent. Omg the dessert was the freshest I have ever had!!!

Ordered a skillet, what came out was half the size of the picture and was not in the skillet that was pictured. Advised management, they informed me that Perkins were changing their skillet dish. The new dish was smaller than the size of the pictured skillet that was on the menu. Smaller portion for the same size. The management did reimburse me, but I felt that I was being taken advantage of. Also, ordered an egg dish. Ordered over medium eggs, two of 3 eggs were broken when it was served. Couldn't believe that the expeditor would let that dish leave the kitchen. PERKINS DO BETTER, you're already over priced for your food.

Server never checked or asked if all was OK, nor if we wanted dessert. Neither did she offer drink refills. Food was OK, but nothing exceptional. Pot roast on half sandwich didn't cover the half slice!

I've never eaten at this restaurant before, but my daughter took me to it for my birthday. There menu selections are amazing. From Breakfast dishes to lunch and dinner they have quite a few selections.

I had breakfast and it was very good. The prices were reasonable, the portions quite large. The waitress was very friendly, professional and saw to our needs without hovering.

I will definitely be going back as there are several menu options I saw that I'd like to try out.

The restaurant actually looked closed as we walked in and waited to be seated. I could hear people in the back but it took a while for a manager to come & seat us. He was very friendly, personable as he welcomed us & introduced our server. Unfortunately, she took down my order wrong & I got a dry BLT instead of the BLT Burger I actually wanted. There wasn’t any mayonnaise on my sandwich & it was very dry. The tomato & basil soup was very good. My dinner companions ordered the breakfast food which they said was very good. One of them wanted to switch out an item and the waitress said they could but then she came back to the table and said they couldn’t. She came back to our table several times & lingered to chat, even pulling out her phone one time to look up the location of another restaurant we were talking about, even though one of us had already looked it up on our phone. Once my companions got their food, the hash browns were on the wrong plate. The manager helping the waitress serve us offered to replate the hash browns but my companions did it themselves. The restaurant was clean and I noted another employee vacuuming the carpet close by our table during the entire meal. The bathrooms were clean.

Parking: The parking lot was empty.
