Really don't deserve NO STARS! I went to get my food and it was a roach on the chair greeting me. I know i play around and say if the place don't have roaches i don't want it BUT TO ACTUALLY SEE A ROACH? I WAS DISGUSTED.I will never eat here i walked right out.???? & i will be calling the health department as well. Don't waste your money in this hole in the wall establishment !

I was very disappointed the oxtails were all fat the macaroni and cheese was salty the cornbread was burnt down the bottom the worst soft food I’ve ever had in Wilkes-Barre PA. And they’re located on the Sansui highway portion was nice but the food was horrible

The meals were not at all what I expected. It was extremely underwhelming. The food was bland and overpriced for the quality. I lived in Georgia and my boyfriend’s family is from South Carolina so when we think of soul food we think of great southern cooking and that is not what we received.

FYI!! Doesn’t seem like they are able to handle a order that is for more then 3ppl… currently giving 2stars based off a simple order being cancelled lol.. which literally only takes 2 -3 cooks the most ( if y’all busy) … maybe walk in/pick up is better but for delivery it’s a no go (order was over $67 )

This was fantastic. I got the smothered chicken meal with white acre, collards, rice, and corn bread. Portions were huge. I couldn’t believe how much food I got for the price. Renee did not skimp! Collards we’re delicious and full of pork. Chicken and gravy were flavorful. White acre was great. My favorite was the corn bread. Best corn bread I’ve ever had. Everything was super hot and fresh as well! Highly recommend!

Nasty! The cake was old! The Mac and cheese was burned!!!! Greens was not cooked all the way! A waste of money completely… I would never and I don’t recommend anyone else ever!!! My dog wouldn’t even eat the turkey wing! Them other comments are lies!!!! How could you sell somebody this!?!????

We got dinner from Renée tonight and it was amazing. The baked Mac was amazing, shrimp tasty, BBQ chicken tangy and tender. I don't know what kind of magic Renée puts into her mashed potatoes but my kids loved them and could not get enough! Big portions and amazing value. If you're looking for a warm family meal this is the place to go.

Coming from out of town we always have to support local businesses especially black owned, and Renee's soul food we happen to see with the best reviews, and She deserves every bit of them, everything we ordered was incredible, flavorful and fresh.. We will be back!
