Starlight Diner(Hanover, PA)

I am deathly allergic to mushrooms. Went in for breakfast with my husband and son and ordered creamed chipped beef with potatoes and found 2 mushrooms in my potatoes. When we told the waitress it seemed like we were the problem. Had I eaten them without realized we would have had to of went straight to the ER. They took $3 off our bill because apparently that’s the cost of the potatoes. 🙃

Its a diner. The food was good, except for the burned biscuits on one day. But the omelet was tasty, servings generous, and the price is reasonable.

Food was amazing. Staff friendly and fast. Been back several times now. Everyone in dinner party loved their meals. Can't wait to come back again.

Had Cost been a criterion, it would have been 5-star also: hosted 6 party family dinner in which there were 2 Crab cake platters, 2 Desserts, among other meals. All were happy with their selections.
The bill before tipping was $103.60.

The quality of food from here at an affordable price is impressive to say the least! We stopped in for lunch on a work trip 3 days in a row and tried different foods each day. The wraps are fantastic as well as some of the hot sandwiches. The dessert menu is huge if you want cake, cheesecake or pie as well!

Great Sunday after church breakfast - had a bit of a wait but enjoyable visit with other couples. Place was packed but moved right along great food served hot.

The waitress that we had was amazing, but I ordered two poached eggs and they were cooked the whole way through which defeat the purpose of Post eggs eggs were still good. They just weren’t the right consistency for what I was trying to do so I hope somebody teaches their cook how to properly make poached eggshaving said that I have nothing against this restaurant and I definitely won’t be returning.

A nice diner lots of seating and good food. The prices are great. For what you would spend on fast food, you get you food here fast that is much better in both quantity and quality.

I can't go back. Food and service was adequate, but it smells musty, then some scented stuff to cover up is released from time-to-time. Gee, that's just great in making food taste good. Left with a burning throat.

This is my first time at this establishment as I was passing through. I like the appeal of this place and the atmosphere of the employees. The hostess who sat us had Down syndrome but was one of the happiest people on earth. They have a large menu with numerous selections. I’ll tell you what the bathroom was super clean. I ordered the fried oysters and I got 2 sides. They were really good. My family member ordered the calamari and with that homemade Mariana sauce they loved it! They also got the French Onion and they loved it. My other family member ordered the Chicken Salad Sandwich and they enjoyed it. However, the chili they said tasted from a can and was old. That was the only complaint. I would definitely come back! They got good food and reasonable prices.
