The hamburger patties are definitely premade and had a strange texture. I was expecting a German menu, but was disappointed with that as well.Beers were okService was excellent.

THIS IS NOT A GERMAN PLACE ANYMORE. Ordered the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Premade dough, too much marinara sauce, and barely melted string cheese. The only thing we had worth paying for was their pretzel, which was fantastic. The server was good and the atmosphere was amazing. But would not go back under current ownership.

The giant pretzel with the beer cheese is to die for. Everything else was bottom tier. The Hawaiian Pizza was disappointing to say the least. The sauce used was just marinara pasta sauce, the crust was not fresh made (it honestly reminded me of what you can get in the grocery store in the pizza isle), there was too much sauce on it to the point where I had to scrape it off, there wasn't enough of the bag cheese and it wasn't melted properly, and unlike a traditional Hawaiian it had pulled pork and re-cooked bacon on it (again the bacon reminded me of the stuff you can get thats already cooked for you). TLDR: Pretzel and beer cheese is a huge win, the pizza is not.

This place went downhill since it became sign of the horse brewery, which is such a bummer because we used to come in all the time to grab drinks and apps. The staff is rude and their hours are unreliable. The kitchen supposedly closes at 9 and the whole place closes at 10. We arrived at 8:40 to grab some apps, only for our extremely rude server to say the kitchen is closing early and too bad for us, because that means he gets to go home early. If that’s how you want to operate a business good luck!!

Would love to say I ate here. But. Came in today, hungry for food. Smells great! Stood at the unmanned front desk for fifteen mins or so along with another couple. No signs making clear if you seat your self. Only person on duty seemed to be the bartender upstairs. He didn't even acknowledge us. Was happy to help the bus of beer seekers that showed up though! When the other couple went up to ask him what was up he rudely said sit wherever you want. Didnt even verbally aknowledge us with word or smile while he served the freshly seated beer tour. Short staffed? Cool. Have some signage up about seating. And it doesn't hurt to say hey. Be right with you. Sorry for the wait. We left. Hungry. And won't be back.

Waste of time. No one greeted us, after waiting for a bit we were told to seat ourselves. It soon became clear that only 1 rather rude person was working. Ended up waiting for 30 minutes to order food but we decided to leave and go to fat bats instead.

Double decker place to eat and relax. Charming open floor plan allows energy flow throughout the entire seating area. We were welcomed immediately by the hostess and it was eat yourself. When we sat, we chose upstairs which carries more heat than downstairs. The waitress was responsive, funny and friendly. We ordered the enormous Bavarian pretzel (in pictures) and the platter. The Bavarian pretzel was accompanied by house mustard, beer cheese and a cinnamon butter. The cinnamon butter was the absolute best. The pretzel was huge, at least 14 inches in length and 6 Inches wide. The platter had 1 boar jalapeno sand cheese sausage split in two and griddled, wasn't salty which is surprising for sausage. It had three German perogies, filled with potatoes and onion, sauerkraut and potato cakes and were paired with pickled red onion, mustard and ranch. We didn't use the dips because everything was well seasoned and perfect the way it was. The perfect bite consisted of sauerkraut, sausage, potato and pickled onion. The bitterness of the onion mixed with the little sweet was nice against the spice of the sausage. They are a local brewery so I obviously had to get a flight of four. I chose (from left to right) I chose: Caramel apple crush- is a fruit beer with 6.9% ABV fruited ale with fresh apple puree, caramel and cinnamon. [This was delicious, as soon as you shipped it I caught notes of caramel and apple. I could drink this on a daily.]The zip zoom zoinks Concord blueberry hibiscus is a sour with fruited gose 4.9% ABV fruit. It is a fruited gose with Himalayan pink salt conditioned on concord great blueberry and hibiscus. [This is not like any sour I have ever had. It didn't taste like it had gone bad. It was crisp and refreshing, a great bbq drink]Shifty gingerSpiced- 5.4% abv, easy drinking winter spiced ale conditioned on 5 lb of ginger per BBL. Tasting notes are gingerbread candy, ginger and warm spices. [I was surprised how light the ginger was in this beer. Based off the description I was expecting a punch in the face. However while you can taste the notes of ginger, it's delicate.]I'll have smore: Porter American, 5.5% abv, a robust border with cherry wood smoked small topped in the kettle with East Kent goldings and conditioned on vanilla. Tasting notes are rich cocoa, delicate smoke, biscuit, and toasted marshmallow. [Oh my goodness. They found a way to capture smokey marshmallow in a stout. Yes please, I'll take a tall class of that!]Highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Prices are very reasonable. Latkes and Perogies were the best. Ruben Flatbread was average, too much dressing although the bread itself was good. Bratwurst was ok but it is served on a pretzel bun and I feel like it takes a backseat and gets lost.

First and last experience. Bread for sandwiches was stale and falling apart. Very very little meat or anything else on sandwiches. Couldn't even pick mine up as it was dry and fell apart. Chalked up to a place to never return.

We sat outside because the weather was nice and because we still are uncomfortable dining indoors. Bad mistake in York County where the louder your vehicle the better. It was hard to have an uninterrupted conversation as the traffic was occasionally extremely noisy. As electric vehicles start to become more common in the future, noisy cars might become frowned upon.
