Based on the reviews, Bubba’s Steaks and Shakes in Harleysville is a casual spot with a few indoor seats and a large outdoor seating area. The food is incredible, with insane portions that are enough for multiple meals. The cheesesteaks are absolutely delicious, packed with juicy, flavorful steak and perfectly melted cheese on a soft, toasted roll. One reviewer got the Royal and called it the best cheesesteak ever, overflowing out of the roll. Another enjoyed a cheesesteak hoagie on a seeded roll with mayo, lettuce, tomato, provolone, and two long hots, which was really fresh and hot. The menu is huge, also selling burgers, chicken, cheesecakes, and a ton of milkshakes with different flavors. The milkshakes are thick, creamy, and taste homemade. The fries are really good, especially the waffle fries and cheese wiz fries. The service is fast with friendly workers, and the atmosphere has a nice casual vibe. It is not cheap, but good steaks are not cheap. Overall, the food is comforting and tastes made with care.
