This is my first time dining at Carley’s Ristorante, a darling, intimate space on Locust Street in downtown Harrisburg.
With plans to attend an Improv Show at The Gamut, Carley’s checked all the boxes for a delightful new experience. And a piano player was tickling the keys with familiar songs. Anna G. provided the necessary details in the menu and cocktail selections with the correct number of check-ins. The Quinoa salad with scallops was ahMaZing. Quinoa is a delicious and nutritional powerhouse grain. I must eat more of it.
Parking: After 5:00 pm, the meters are free. You can even park at the assigned parking for state workers around the capital after 5:00 pm. Find a place and walk if necessary.,

We came in from out of town late on a weekend and I called ahead to see if there was a way we could get a table late. They were so kind and accommodated us by not only providing a table, but an excellent meal and service. Scallops were fantastic ,which I appreciated since Harrisburg isn’t exactly a coastal town. The waiter was so nice and not once acted inconvenienced by having the kitchen stay open a bit longer. The piano player was friendly and very talented. We were fortunate to be able to share a meal here ,unplanned-such a gem of a place nestled in the capital of PA. Thank you to all who worked the night of 4/5 about 8:45 pm.

Providence! We walked in on a whim last night. We were lucky to get a seat at the bar. Fell into a hidden gem. The food and presentation was incredible. The hostess and staff were so nice considering that we just walked in. And the piano player was spot on with song choices and his playing. Oh and can't forget the mix master. It was fun watching him work his craft. Now how do I talk the wife onto the 5 hour drive to show her your place? Keep it up. Thank you

Disappointing Experience with Staff and Management
Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, as I felt disrespected and poorly treated by both the staff and management.
This level of service is not what I expected from a business of your reputation, and it left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer.
I believe in giving feedback with the hope that it will lead to positive changes. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and let me know what actions will be taken to address these issues and ensure that future customers do not have a similar experience.

The shrimp crab parpadelle pasta was fresh but had little to no taste. My husbands dish vegetarian ravioli with Pesto cream sauce was absolutely delicious. Piano player was excellent. Atmosphere is awesome. New bartender very conscientious and did a great job 👏

Not for vegetarians!!! I told them I’m a vegetarian asked for a marinara without meat, but I found little chunks of meat in my sauce. I threw up after accidentally eating meat because it made me sick.
Dietary restrictions: I am a vegetarian and I asked for a meatless option for my sauce. They either blatantly ignored my request or just messed horribly.
