The food at the restaurant was great. I ordered strawberry shortcake for dessert and received it in a to-go box. However, it was very disappointing. It wasn’t even a cake; it was a biscuit.

Walked in service was great, staff were friendly. As we approached the host stand, I was hit with a noxious odor that I couldn't really pin point. We sat down, and my partner stated “it smells weird”, almost like cat pee. When this was stated I had to agree. Its unfortunate but there is a pungent odor that management has to resolve; It’s not conducive to dining. Otherwise the app. We got was good, but we decided to go elsewhere due to the odor.

This is the first time we tried Carly’s Ristorante in Harrisburg. We started with the pumpkin spice, espresso martinis and the burrata and both were absolutely amazing! The burrata was out of this world! I had the shrimp and crab Tuscany and my wife had the Bolognese and both were amazing! The service was top-notch and they made sure all of the food came out in a timely manner, the food is absolutely delicious in the setting is really cool in downtown Harrisburg. We moved to the bar and had a couple glasses of wine and the bartender who was also our server was super friendly and very accommodating. To top it off they had live music with a really nice gentleman singing, and playing the piano. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Harrisburg, looking for really good Italian food, outstanding service and live entertainment.

I had hoped for a more elevated dining experience, especially after making the trip into the city for what I expected to be an enjoyable dinner. While the food and service itself was decent, the overall atmosphere fell short of expectations. Upon being seated, I noticed my chair was broken, and my beverage was flat. The space also didn’t feel as clean or well-maintained as I would have anticipated for the price point. These small details can make a meaningful difference in the overall impression. My first visit was pleasant, but this return visit left me uncertain about whether it’s worth the effort of coming back, considering the parking and overall experience.

Beautiful. What a gem in downtown Harrisburg. I live here since 2014 and did not even know they existed.
Very attentive staff, music was amazing, just the right volume, not too loud. Beautifully presented.
Amazing drinks. Food was excellent and everything was decently priced unlike other places in downtown. We WILL go here more often now!

This please reminded me of those cozy hole in the wall restaurants in NYC.

Owen provided amazing service at the bar. We had an espresso martini with limoncello and it was amazing. We also split the artichoke, burrata, and smoked salmon flatbread. A true downtown Harrisburg gem.

This is my first time dining at Carley’s Ristorante, a darling, intimate space on Locust Street in downtown Harrisburg.

With plans to attend an Improv Show at The Gamut, Carley’s checked all the boxes for a delightful new experience. And a piano player was tickling the keys with familiar songs.
Anna G. provided the necessary details in the menu and cocktail selections with the correct number of check-ins.
The Quinoa salad with scallops was ahMaZing. Quinoa is a delicious and nutritional powerhouse grain. I must eat more of it.

Parking: After 5:00 pm, the meters are free. You can even park at the assigned parking for state workers around the capital after 5:00 pm. Find a place and walk if necessary.,

We came in from out of town late on a weekend and I called ahead to see if there was a way we could get a table late. They were so kind and accommodated us by not only providing a table, but an excellent meal and service. Scallops were fantastic ,which I appreciated since Harrisburg isn’t exactly a coastal town. The waiter was so nice and not once acted inconvenienced by having the kitchen stay open a bit longer. The piano player was friendly and very talented. We were fortunate to be able to share a meal here ,unplanned-such a gem of a place nestled in the capital of PA. Thank you to all who worked the night of 4/5 about 8:45 pm.

Providence! We walked in on a whim last night. We were lucky to get a seat at the bar. Fell into a hidden gem. The food and presentation was incredible. The hostess and staff were so nice considering that we just walked in. And the piano player was spot on with song choices and his playing. Oh and can't forget the mix master. It was fun watching him work his craft.
Now how do I talk the wife onto the 5 hour drive to show her your place? Keep it up. Thank you

Me and my boyfriend came here for our date night and everything was amazing. Owen behind the bar was so friendly and quick! The food is delicious and the live music is always great. I always recommend my friends from out of town to try this place.
