Second Visit—Still Impressed!
This was our second time dining at this restaurant our first visit was for dinner, and this time we came for brunch. Once again, it did not disappoint! The staff were warm and welcoming, the service was attentive, and the food was delicious. The drinks were also great.
We especially loved the vibe relaxed and fun with R&B music playing in the background, which added the perfect touch to our experience. My husband and I truly enjoyed ourselves. It's a fantastic spot for a Day Date. Highly recommend!

Keeps switching owners. Food prep is awful: week old Mac n cheese, undercooked fish. They keep changing owners: wait staff is owed pay- thanks to patrons sneaking out of patio dining area with unpaid checks, wait staff tips with held - they allow multiple tabs with different servers and then when customers refuse to pay, staff is again held responsible - unorganized owners - it’s dead much of the time.
Crawdaddys is wonderful. The music and the food. Their catfish is good and right now asparagus is in season and the roasted asparagus is really good! We liked the shrimp appetizer and the corn bread muffins too! The waiters are chill and the interior has a good vibe.

A tale of what could have been. We were expecting a great cajun creole meal, but that's not what was served. The shrimp tempura is advertised as cajun, but what was served was what you would get from any basic Japanese sushi joint right down to the Asian chili sauce instead of the remoulade on the menu. The entrees were just ok, with little to no cajun identity. Drinks are severely watered-down worse than a cheap nightclub. The Bulliet Rye old fashioned ordered had so little alcohol that it came out looking like a Shirley Temple. The sevice was very pleasant, but I was a little embarrassed for them as the kitchen and bar are costing, them their identity.

Took a very long time to get out food and was not overly impressed.
I had a chance to speak with the new owners, they were very kind and welcoming. They made it a point to engage with every guest and were very hands on with service being offered. As a customer/ consumer I can appreciate that they took an interest in our experience and asked for genuine feedback. I enjoyed the food and the drinks were good not to strong and not to light. I can see this restaurant becoming bigger and better.
Jazz in the background. Great food in the belly. What more do you need? Love this place!!
Crawdaddyz is a good down-2-earth👍🏽 place 2 socialize at!!!

Got a table in Valentine’s Day. They had a Valentine’s Day menu, which I didn’t want. I’d rather order from the menu that they’re originally had. The Valentine’s Day menu suck the stuffed catfish With crab meat was a main course and it didn’t come with any side. The waitress explained that my side was the salad which came with my appetizer. I was still hungry after that meal My friend ordered eggrolls, which they only gave her one and cut it in half. Her appetizer came with a salad also but her main course was the steak which came with mashed potatoes and asparagus and a biscuit. Overall, they made a Valentine’s Day dinner very unpleasant and had it not been for me having changed I wouldn’t have left a tip at all. So they should be thankful for the six dollars they receive for me tonight, but I wouldn’t recommend going there on a Valentine’s Day again!
I recently tried crawdaddys for the very first time on Monday and it’s the perfect comfort meal especially when snowing outside and you need authentic soul food to really hit the spot. I got the blackened salmon, mac and cheese, and collard greens. everything was phenomenal especially the collard greens and trust me when I say this….i hate collard greens but for some reason they have the best. And that mac and cheese !!!
We had dinner on a Saturday night around 6. The dining room was completely dead outside of our party of four, so the atmosphere was a bit strange. The building itself feels more like a mall or an office space than a restaurant, but the street parking was plentiful. There were also unclean vases filled with water a fake flowers on the table.
My shrimp and grits was not at all appetizing (see picture of grease pools on top of dish) and lacked flavor. The shrimp were overcooked, but my partner said the snapper and gator nuggets they ordered were good. The food took a very long time to come out given that we were the only diners. I was also charged for each refill of my soda, which is strange and not listed on the menu.
The restaurant struggled to remember who ordered what and who had which beverages, so there was a lot of back and forth to correct the checks.
Overall, it was a fine evening, but we won’t be back.
Great 👍
Not good at all…. This restaurant and their food mainly their drinks have gone down immensely. It’s sad, but that’s just my opinion.
