The service and atmosphere was just fine, it was the quantity and value I got with the breakfast sandwich. For $9.00, this breakfast sandwich had no substance. You flattened one egg and a small piece of sausage. I know times are tough, but I can go up the street and get more egg and more meat for half the cost. I came for a real egg yes, but if you are looking for value, this price point is off the charts.

This hidden gem offers incredible Italian subs! Don't be fooled by the atmosphere - the friendly staff and delicious food are worth it. I tried the Italian Sub and have returned multiple times since. Skip Subway and head here for a fantastic sandwich experience.

Whether you need a quick and easy pre-made burrito in the morning or to sit down in a nice, casual diner environment, Downtown Deli is your answer. I always stop in the morning for a breakfast burrito. Very kind and friendly staff. Never had a bad sandwich or burrito. Thank you all!

Ruined my whole morning. Absolutely, positively, unequivocally, the worst breakfast burrito I’ve ever eaten. I know they wouldn’t even eat this. I’m telling you bro this ain’t it , need to get back in the kitchen and re work your recipe.

Favorite lunch spot in downtown Harrisburg. My go to is the Italian, and when I want to switch up I get the manhattan. Their baked goods and tea are also great. Highly recommend. Always quick

For a while the Downtown Deli was not 1 of my favorite places. I felt the people at the register were kinda mean.I wasn't going to return to the Deli but 1 day I saw and spoken to their Masked Employee who was dancing outside to car musicHe was so nice & polite & took me by surprise of his knowledge of Bible Scriptures which goes a long way & it's obvious that he's touched by the spirit.The fact that he keeps bright outlook on a job that he has held over 10 years has convinced me & my friends to return

I bought a bacon, egg, and cheese (with a hash brown), for $13.00. The food was cold and soggy as though it was sitting there for hours. I think they’re making sandwiches in the morning and having them sit there all day until people buy them. It certainly wasn’t made in real-time.The food was all incredibly small portioned for the hefty prices.Won’t be coming again.

Was very disappointed the place was dirty the people were not friendly poor service and the food was nasty!!!!

My company was having a meeting out of town. We called a before and Lloyd emailed me a PDF to send to our managers. On the day of the meeting I called and was able to email a picture of our large order! Lloyd emailed back to let me know they ran out of something and gave options for a substitute. They were able to accommodate our large party of 20 with a label for each order - first and last name!! AND got all orders correct!! Thanks so much Downtown!
