Their chicken enchiladas are one of my favorite comfort foods, and the tres leches cake is fantastic! By far my favorite Mexican place in Harrisburg.

So I’m a little disappointed they advertise a taco salad… but don’t sell taco meat?! Also doesn’t specify on online delivery that it does not come with meat… I spent 20$ on shedded lettuce cheese and sour cream and a fried ice cream I haven’t tried yet.

This El Sol Express is a small little restaurant, but it has delicious food and a great atmosphere! It is casual and low key dining. You sit wherever you'd like, order food from the counter, and then they bring it out to your table for you. There are no servers, but staff members stopped by our table a few times during our meal to check if we needed anything. It is toddler friendly. There are high chairs, staff were friendly to our toddler, and they were accommodating to our need for an extra bowl to serve food to our toddler. Additionally, the bathroom (ladies room, at least) was impressively clean with a nice changing table. There's even a little shelf that I could put the diaper bag on while changing my toddler. Overall, we loved our dinner out at El Sol Express!

Stopped here while traveling on the PA Turnpike and were so thrilled with our meal! Sometimes we find it tricky to find a place to stop but this was well worth it. And we’re so glad we got churros to go. We’ll be back!!
