Super bummed. We used to LOVE this place when it was The Garden. Had an issue with a double charge a few months back with no resolution. Decided that everyone makes mistakes and came back a few times since. Each time has been ok, but tonight was so disappointing. Ordered Thai Rice with shrimp and paid additional extra money for extra shrimp along with a grilled pork rice plate. When I got home, I was shocked to only see six total shrimp. The flavor was super bland in the rice (it used to be amazing!) and the grilled pork in the rice plate was just two dry slabs of minimally seasoned pork. We miss the old days at this place, for sure.

Whoever said they have great vegan options was very wrong. I came for lunch based on that statement, but the broth is all beef broth, the caramelized tofu has fish sauce in it, the sauce they use for the pineapple fried rice has fish sauce in it.

I don’t think a vegetarian could eat here, let alone a vegan. I appreciated that the employee was honest about the lack of options though.

I ordered take out so I didn’t necessarily get served but I got my food fast and it was still warm when I was able to eat it. I order a Brown Sugar boba tea and bun Bo hue. From being a Vietnamese food connoisseur, I will say the broth does not taste like bun Bo broth but a spicier pho broth. I was received sriracha + hoisin sauce (typically put on pho) instead of red chilli oil which is what’s typically put on bun Bo. The noodles are bun Bo noodles but extremely thin. The meat cut is what’s typically in pho as well besides the cha. The brown sugar boba I received had a really good flavor because it was more tea based than milk, however, the boba balls were extremely firm and hard to chew. The price point for the bun Bo was decent but $6 for the boba was not it.

Overall, the bun Bo tastes like spicier pho 3/5 stars

everyone is so nice and friendly, the Bahn Mi and Vietnamese coffee is fantastic, and the prices are excellent. 10/10, no notes. Definitely check this place out

Best Pho in central PA!

This place never disappoints. The food is awesome and I lived in Philly for most of my adult life and ate a lot of great Vietnamese food there, so I know awesome. I think the place is really cute but only have it 4 stars just because it’s kind of diner-like and I’ve seen some gorgeous retro diners.
Always clean and service is good. Has its own parking lot which is cool since it’s in Midtown. But plenty of off street parking as well, including free if you’re willing to walk a bit.

My son introduced us to this place we had no idea about pho soup I couldn’t believe how delicious the soup was my husband who is very picky and I mean hates everything loved it we got pho with shrimp
Lots shrimp and tender. Staff very friendly and helpful with questions about menu we have been here several after and it never disappoints us

I've been going to this restaurant for a while now, always an amazing experience and it's dining in!
Love their banh-mi, & stir fry's! Overall, great place, most cozy in the colder seasons! 🍂 ❄️
