Great venue

Bar tenders and door guys were awesome. Thank you!!! We had blast at the show tonite, a dubstep feature wasnt our typical night out but we're so glad we came in. This bar/venue has two floors you can hang out on the first floor in a swanky lounge with tons of space pool tables dart boards huge bar and arcade games. Upstairs the DJs killed it. Huge ceiling considering we're on 3rd Street so sound was dope. Better than some Philly venues for sure. Drinks were NOT over priced and the service was better than average.

Grateful for hmac. 💚

Last night was my first time at HMac. I was there working as an independent contractor.

Even though I live close by, I needed to bring some heavy items with me and drive there. Parking in midtown is difficult and I don't walk around when it's dark if I don't have to.

I went a few hours earlier to get a feel of where I needed to go and ask about parking. In 20+years working at venues, this was definitely one of the easiest, first-time vendor experiences I had.

I usually arrive 1 to 2 hours before any event in case of any issues. I've never been ready for a show in 15 minutes, so I had an hour to kill. I was offered help both arriving and leaving with my gear. No hassle dealing with security -usually the worst part of my job.

I'm now disappointed I didn't connect sooner as I can't wait to work another show.

Love the small venue!

I spent 120 on tickets. When I showed up I was turned away because I wasn't 21 (I'm 20.) No where on the tickets I ordered said I had to be 21 or that the concert was in a "bar". Why is it not an option to have a wrist band or stamp so the bar knows not to serve me? I shouldn't need a chaperone at 20 years old to see a band play. I waited months to see The Hu. This place is a joke. 😒👎

I went to a see a concert on Wednesday night at the Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center. I can't remember the last time I was at a concert. I saw Kevin Wallen, Icon For Hire, Skydaddy and the main act Citizen Soldier. It's a small venue, but it was an absolutely amazing show and I had a blast. Jake Segura, the frontman from Citizen Soldier even did a up front close meet and greet with everyone who attended. He even took this picture with MY phone with my friends and myself. This is one concert I will never forget!

Miller lite was stale
Staff was friendly and helpful
Incense burning was awful and gave both myself and son a headache

Well was gonna attend a show but the owner is using negative emotions towards other reviewers. I guess I’ll step back and go to another area. Never saw owners respond the way they do under this venue. I was referring to “get a life”. Just never heard that response from an owner. Usually they try to fix it or come to a resolution. I will remove this post and reconsider if that comment makes of “get a life” is removed. I shouldn’t have to feel management or ownership is a problem before my first show there that may cause tension when it should be enjoyable.

I've been coming to the hmac for many years lately I've been ordering their pizza and when I tell you they have the best pizza around no exaggeration if you want great quality Pizza while you're down there enjoy live entertainment order the pizza they have so many different flavors and they're all on point homemade sauce the bread is homemade it's one of the most refreshing pieces that have ever eaten anywhere I've traveled to many states but that pizza is to die for every time I eat it does not matter which one I order they all have a crazy flavor don't take my word for it go there order their Pizza

This is a cool little venue and maybe it’s just me but I think the acoustics in this place are pretty terrible. A good pair of high fidelity earplugs will do you a ton of justice.

Went to see Sevendust. Great show. No complaints other than it got a bit warm in the venue.
