I went to visit this location a week ago and couldn’t find it - whatever glass front with the House of Vegan sticker on it was closed with no sign of life. I guess they are closed now? I was so excited to try this so I wanted to come leave a good review so everyone knows there’s high interest in good vegan food like this! I heard so many great things from friends.

I suggest getting the Slap Burger. It slaps!I like the soul food items, but the Slap Burger (and the other burger options) are the real stars here.

This place is fantastic Friendly owners and staff along with amazing delicious food! Real food ! As a vegetarian with lactose intolerance it's perfect ! I can order anything without worries , and it's all amazing ! Chicken sandwich is Delicious ?? !!! We took a 30 plus minute drive to go there , and it's well worth it!

The food is so good that you won’t even remember it’s plant based. Everything I’ve tried has been fantastic, better than most places I’ve eaten at even in bigger cities. A must try for vegans and non vegans alike.

I have never eaten Vegan and this food was great! The customer service (young man in particular) was above average. I will definitely be going back and I definitely recommend. I got 1 of everything to taste. My favorites are the fried cauliflower, the cabbage, bbq citrus ribs and fajita mix. My husband's favorite was everything! Must try!!!

The service was great. The staff waited on each person on a service line for the food. After receiving the food at the end the money is collected and you are given the food to take out or eat at the pizza shop attached to to the vegan food. We all enjoyed our selections next door at the pizza shop. The food is very tasty and they carry a nice selection.

Beyond impressed! It was super busy when we arrived to order around 4:30. We got the Open House Burger and the Chopped Loaded. There was so much flavor and it was definitely worth the wait! By far the best vegan burger I have ever had. 20/10 recommend. This will be our new Sunday night take out place. Happy to support local business, especially one as exceptional as HOV!

My family and I stopped by on Sunday, which was burger day! The burgers were really, really good. I got some stuff off the hot bar, too, which was all tasty - although the corn bread was a bit small.The food was really, really good but compared to similar vegan food in other areas, it felt like we paid way too much. We paid about $70 for food for four people.I'd go again if I were in the area, for sure. I'm looking forward to seeing what else this place comes up with. It's a welcome addition to Harrisburg, which has been lacking in great vegan options.

To be honest it wasn't that great for $56 for 2 people for take out...The greens were so salty, my mac and cheese was dry...my husband got the citrus bowl option which was amazing. They did not tell us it's extra for Mac and Cheese as a side, they charged more for the iced tea then it stated on the glass, and the two female employees were terrible. If a customer comes into your store and says " Hello we have never been here before but are super excited and you don't reply....HORRIBLE " The young man plating our food was better than the females. Not sure if I'll ever go back. Who wants to spend over $50 for that...and to sit in your car to eat out of a box...

I visit Harrisburg once or twice a month on business. As a vegan my choices are somewhat limited so when I saw House of Vegans pop up on my search tonight I was really excited to try a new place. Wow! I will eat here every time I am in town. This is excellent food. The crew was energetic, happy and friendly. I had the Mako Mac and Cheese along with the Citris Ribs. Both are outstanding! What a pleasure.
